Senate Bill 456 and House Bill 385 - Florida Minimum Wage

It's always the Democrats.

Presented right at a time when Governor Rick Scott has been working over-time and has a full court press to attract businesses to our State that will provide jobs, Florida Democrats Cynthia Stafford and Dwight Bullard want to raise Florida's  minimum wage from $7.93 to $10.10 an hour.  Also in their bill is raising the sub-minimum wage for waitresses and restaurant servers from $4.91 to $10.10 as well. Does that mean that I won't have to tip 20% anymore?

Whatever is done, the state's minimum wage has to rise with the rate of inflation according to the Florida Constitution.  But with Democrats, where there's a will, there's a way especially when Obama came out in November, approving that figure.
