The old
The new
Helen has a building named after her and boy is it vibrant. We used to have a color code in this city and you needed a permit. Now, anything goes. This scheme, with its south of the border influence, must be the wildest in Lake Worth. The art community must love it.
The building to the west of the main house (garage apts) is being painted chartreuse.
Looks more Key West than south of the border. Plus it looks great. What do you know about anything other than complaining?
ReplyDeleteWhat do i know about anything other than complaining? Where is the complaint? Be sure to let us all know.
ReplyDeleteActually, I sort of like it other than the pea green shutters. Now I will hear from the other side about how garrish it all is. :)
It is definitely a Caribbean influence, perhaps Buenos Aires, the exact same influence in Key West.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing the fence painted. Any color.
ReplyDeleteAt least they didn't get to install their 6 foot high wooden fence all around the property.
ReplyDeleteanonymous at 11:22 you are so cynical that you should just take a short walk off a long pier and give us all a break. Please consider.
ReplyDeleteI love it. Great colors. This woman owner has superb taste. But let's strip the purple and pink and orange paint off the planters on Lake Ave. Tacky, tacky, tacky, tacky, tacky.
ReplyDelete@9:05--LOL

Obviously, 9:05, “You Can’t Handle The Truth.” That quote just about covers it.
ReplyDeleteThere are two sides to a story and in politics, you get a lot of lies and twisted facts. Thanks to this blog, you get the sometimes ugly truth.
I think it looks pretty good, fun and vibrant. Certainly looks better than it did before.
