It is sad that people have become so pathetic and have no confidence and self-respect to do things for themselves, that they need to abuse the system so much. There are so many so called "single" mothers who really live with their partners, yet receive +$600 in rent money and +$200 in food stamps for their family, they do not marry just to receive all these benefits, yet live like married, while their deadbeat husbands do nothing also, so much abuse. You see so many, even white trash, that say they are injured on the job, to get hundreds of dollars in disability each month, yet they do not want to work, they say they are in pain, yet can be dancing drunk on top of the tables at Igot's. Our system is broken, our society is pathetic, everyone wants the easy way out while doing nothing, yet getting freebees from the government for life. No wonder we are in the predicament we are in. Pray for these people and our broken system.
I have always found what Cicero has said about all of this over 2000 years ago:
"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance."
