Now look, I know we don't get too excited these days about crime--there is so much of it that much of it is never reported in the news. The city administration along with some of their supporters are thrilled with the PBSO and an amendment to their contract is up on Tuesday. The Sheriff's Department has 5 vehicles driving around all day long. We don't see them in our neighborhood as little crime is out this way and those who have contacted me say they seldom see any in their neighborhoods either. Hopefully, they are cruising the hot spots.
Just think, if the city taxpayers pay $100 million on new roads and repairs it will make the streets more attractive and all these deadbeats won't want to live on streets with nice looking roads and it will rid us of slum and blight. RIGHT. I believe that is Ms. "My elevator does not go the top floor's" position along with the commission.
ReplyDeleteI never see PBSO ever. Who knows where they are, certainly not patrolling in my neighborhood.
