  1. Herman must be in charge of this, because he does Temple on Friday Night, everyone else will be in Church on Sunday.

  2. Some of you righteous people would crucify your grandmother. This has nothing to do with Herman, religion even though it is obvious that you need to get some.

This has everything to do with taking back our park. I guess we won't be seeing you. :(

  7. Dear 3:42 pm, Just to let you know, this idea was a group effort of many fine people. Why so mean-spirited towards Mr. Robinson? As one who does attend church, in your heart do you truly think such a comment is appropriate? Where he - or anyone else for that matter - is at any given time is not really our concern is it? A loving intention is what really matters. A joining of neighbors in friendship and concern for one another surrounded by the blessing and beauty of Bryant Park is a delightful way to dispel negative thoughts about others and bring people together, just as a church strives to do for every parishioner. “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20

  8. Lynn I believe the first comment was meant as a joke. Lighten up a little, smile once in a while, I know it might be hard for you, and something that will most likely not come easy. But just remember everyone will wonder what you are up to.

  9. Oh, now you're back-tracking in order to get in your little slap down of me! What a guy. Have a great morning in church.

P.S. Your humor has a lot to be desired.

  10. I am not in that neighborhood but it did not sound like a joke to me. Sounds like a fun idea. I hope we do the same.

  11. Everyone from every neighborhood is welcome. We should start using and enjoying our park. I know that sometimes I forget about going there.

  12. Lynn this is from the first poster have not been in town for a few days so no chance to answer. Herman is a close friend that I have known personally for years. This was an inside Joke that only He would understand. It has Nothing to do with Faith, Religion, or being Rude or Mean Spirited.

  13. OK then--but how would anyone know it was some sort of a joke on Herman by a friend? We'll leave it at that and hopefully Herman knows who you are--we don't.

  14. Herman is a great guy, he has done so much for Bryant Park neighborhood and for this city. For Mr. or Ms. Sarcasm, take a look in the mirror and ask yourself how much time you have given to your neighborhood, or to you city and then come back and report.
