UPDATE: All 3 local TV stations have reported that there was a shooting...few details given.
Read about it
A source who contributed these photos tried to report the crime to one of the major television channels and was told that they had orders by someone in Lake Worth not to report on the crime in our city. It seems that possibly two out of the three local stations are not reporting on Lake Worth crime? If you don't report on it, it will all go away?
We have the wild, wild freaking west here and channel 12 will no longer report on it? the only one with the power to stop that would be the city manager. What stations are no longer reporting on our crime? Whoever their station managers are should be fired right along with the LW CM.
ReplyDeleteIf true, freedom of press has been suppressed, a constitutional right. How does any city government have that much clout to suppress the Press? Is this just a weak kneed station manager or is there just so much crime here that it is all getting commonplace and boring to write about?
ReplyDeleteThis city only wants to tell us about the warm and fuzzy happenings like bonfires on the beach getting rained out instead of what's really holding our city back.
If your source is the same fellow who photographed the "bobcat" in Bryant park, I am not too sure I would believe him!
ReplyDeleteThere are cats that look just like bobcats. That photo looked like a bobcat to many. But aside from that, people in our city need to be more vocal, stand up and report crime so that the PBSO can act. It's out of hand.
ReplyDeletedid you notice the xmas lights still up?
ReplyDeleteMaybe the Christmas lights are early!
ReplyDeleteAll 3 stations have reported on it.
ReplyDeleteLove lil Les Lackman in the pool with his noodle. Hol on lil Les! Keep paddling away and maybe one day you'll be able to swim with the big kids!
