Marco Rubio, The Amnesty Man

Comment Up
Marco Rubio being ridiculed by the radical-right

It's a déjà vu. Although I am a conservative and reject the far left-wings as well as far right-wings of both Parties on most issues, I believe that Marco Rubio's Plan makes sense ONLY if we secure the borders and have NO more people crossing our borders illegally. I believe that this is impossible and there lies the rub. Ideally, I would like to see them all go home.

The 844 page bill is just about as good as it can get, but the biggest problem with this bill, as I see it, is that conservatives do not trust this government to do it right. Think 1986.  As Marco Rubio said, speaking about the bill, “It will have to be adjusted, because people are very suspicious about the willingness of the government to enforce the laws now.” He continued: “That is a very legitimate suspicion, it’s one that I share, and if there’s anything we can do to make [the bill] even tighter … that’s exactly what we should be working on.”
