Schuhriemen should be sent to prison for his role in one of the biggest
flipping-fraud conspiracies in Florida history." He worked for a company that artificially inflated the value of hundreds of houses and lied on mortgage applications to obtain millions in ill-gotten gains.
In the end, he was given a "slap on the wrist" for ruining people's lives and was sentenced to five
years' probation. The Court ordered him to pay slightly more than $300,000 in
restitution to his former employer.
