The City of Lake Worth will be hosting the Holiday (Christmas) Parade on Saturday, December 8, 2012 which will begin at 6:00 PM. The following roads will be closed from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM (approximate) for the staging and parade route:
North Federal Highway will be closed from Lucerne Ave to 10thAvenue North. South Federal Hwy will be closed from Lake Ave to 1st Ave South. Vehicle traffic traveling northbound on South Federal Hwy will be detoured west bound on 1st Avenue South to South Dixie Hwy. Vehicle Traffic traveling southbound on North Federal Hwy will be detoured west bound on 10th Ave North to North Dixie Hwy.
Lake Ave will be closed between Dixie Hwy and Federal Hwy. Lucerne Ave will be closed from North O St. to Dixie Hwy. East-bound traffic on Lake Avenue will be detoured north and south at Dixie Highway.
Westbound traffic over the Lake Worth Bridge will be detoured southbound on No O St. (Ocean Breeze) to 1st Ave South then west to Dixie Hwy. There will be detour signs in place to direct vehicle traffic. The Lake Worth Bridge will remain open at all times. Anyone wanting to access the bridge from the south end will be detoured at 2nd Ave South then eastbound to the bridge and anyone wanting to access the bridge from the north end will be detoured at 10th Ave North then eastbound to the bridge.
