Quote of the day - Rush Limbaugh

Comment Up
“Small things beat big things yesterday. Conservatism in my humble opinion did not lose last night. It’s just very difficult to beat Santa Claus. People are not going to vote against Santa Claus, especially when the alternative is being your own Santa Claus. In a country of children where the option is Santa Claus or work, what wins?”

~ Rush Limbaugh

I can't get enough of this graphic.

  1. This is so wrong. To say that I voted for Obama for things is not true. Romney lost because he offered no solutions to our problems other than lowering taxes. You can't tell me that lowering taxes will create jobs when I have seen that it does not work. The refusal to raise taxes on the super rich was the last straw for me. Things had nothing to do with it. When you open your Social Security check this month, get flour Medicare benefits this month you may want to return it to the government. Think of how much better off you are because of these government programs. To say that hard working people who clean our streets, wash our cars, and do all the jobs that need to be done want things is insulting. They only want a fair chance and they want to pay less of a percentage in taxes than Romney. Shame on you.

  2. Romney was the ONLY candidate who offered solutions. I guess you were only listening to the rock star.

  3. Limbaugh was not talking about the hard working stiff out there who is contributing. Nor was he talking about the retiree who worked for years and who contributed to the system. Raising taxes on the super rich will not make one little dent on our unsustainable debt. Changing the tax code to make it fair will be a good start as far as tax rates. Romney paid about 3.2 million in taxes.

  4. Limbaugh was recently named the most despicable person in media, by both Democrats and Republicans and here you are quoting him. Go figure.
You can let Rush know next time you talk to him, conservatism is dead.
It's ironic that you think this graphic is funny when you're one of the 47% that gets free $hit and doesn't pay any taxes. What a joke .

  5. Yes, he was named this by the left wing Media Matters.

This graphic depicts those who don't work, refuse to work, just want the government to pay for their very subsistence--not Senior citizens who have paid into social security. In my case, I paid into it for 40 years and also pay my fair share of taxes. Hopefully, you will get SS when you retire. I am sure by then you won't think the same way.

It is this very lack of understanding about what we mean and what are and what are not "entitlements" that in the future, no attack comments on this subject will be accepted. Lies are not allowed on this blog. Belittling senior citizens will not be tolerated either. Go get a job and get your personality out of the bathroom.

Let's all hope that Socialism will not be the norm of this country and that in 4 years people will see the light--if it's not too late.
