Al Qaida leader says America is weak

Comment Up

To many in the rest of the world, America is now lacking political, social power and influence in the world especially the Mid-East.

The Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi signals American weakness in the Middle East, according to al-Qaida’s leader Ayman al-Zawahiri.  “Their awe is lost and their might is gone and they don’t dare to carry out a new campaign like their past ones in Iraq and Afghanistan,” said Zawahiri.

  1. Obama's been throwing Israel under the bus and the Jews here don't even know it.

  2. Obama is dismantling our military. Defense Leon Panetta has said these cuts "will be devastating to our national security and to our economy." But this, it seems, is a pacifist nation now.

  4. And of course we should believe everything the Al Qaida leader says.....can you find one quote from Al Qaida that celebrates America's strength? Pull it together my right wing friends, it's a new day and America is regaining its strength! Be an American not a sheep!

  6. Iran, you own it. Bowing to the Soviet Union, you own it. Another severe recession, you own it. A volatile border with Mexico, you own it. Trouble getting good health care, you own it. Higher heath insurance costs and health care costs, you own it. No budget, you own it. Our allies mistrust, you own it. Another trillion of debt, you own it. More Benghazi situations, you own it. No one willing to join the military, you own it. Trouble getting a loan to buy a home, you own it. More dependency on food stamps, you own it. Trouble finding good employment, you own it. Several part time jobs instead of a good job, you own it. A World Government, you own it. The UN governing the United States instead of ourselves, you own it. A Senate that will not bring any legislation to the table rather it is "Dead on Arrival", you own it. China controlling our world trade trampling all over us, you own it. Loss of our freedoms as we have known it in the past, you own it. A dictatorship instead of a democracy that follows the Constitution, you own it. Less take home pay and higher living costs, you own it. Driving a car that looks like a toy, you own it. More government corruption and lies, you own it. More toleration of extreme and fanatical Islamist's, you own it. Terrorist attacks called work place incidents, you own it. Your revenge instead of love of country, you own it. President George Bush is out of it now, and there is not another good man for you to vilify and lie about. In a way I am relieved that another good man will not be blamed when it was impossible to clean up this mess you voted for.

Have a good day. God bless the United States and Texas! God is our hope now."

  9. Romney showed his plan taking 8 years to fix things so I preferred and was happy to give Obama another 4 given he followed the worst president we have ever had. He has a definitive track record of improving after the previous disaster. Plus the next four years will give the Republicans time to figure out how to connect with the 47% (or really 52%)) of America they forgot and dismissed, and not just Fox News. I prefer Eminem, Foo Fighters, Bruce and Mr. Neal Young, to name a few over Beyonce or J-Zee, although J-Zee speaks to me sometimes. Are you thinking of giving up and leaving the Country? If so we need to weed out the posers anyway and keep the people who want to make this Country better, not run scared because their man lost.

  10. Republicans do connect--just not with those who are unwilling to contribute but live to take and believe in printing money and running up the national debt to a level of unsustainability. As your heroes are rock stars or rappers, I can see why we are in so much trouble. :)

  11. They are not my heroes I just like their music, among many others. If the Republicans did connect their candidate would have won. But they didn't connect with single women and they didn't connect with Latinos, among others non-contributing people as you and your fellow Republicans would say. Romney didn't connect and whether he wins or loses Col West didn't either. They insult hard working Americans with their sweeping generalities just as you are now mimicking. And if you too are lumping the majority of Americans into non-contributing citizens, then there is the problem right there...denial. America has changed, embrace it and help shape it out leave. The Republican Party has Tea Party people fighting with the Bible Belt fanatics, fighting against Big Business, fighting against Bla Bla Bla. It Ain't Working!

  12. I was a hard working American for over 4 decades. I believe it is the socialist left wing Democrats that have changed our country and not for the better. I have always been a moderate Democrat and I doubt seriously that there is such a distinction any longer in this party or in this country. Why should I give up my principles? The tide will change again unless, of course, the country gives amnesty to all illegals and allows more to come in for government entitlements just to get the vote.

The Tea Party and the religious right did not play into this election at all. The Republicans have them and the Democrats have the Communists and socialists. I know which one I would rather side with.

  13. Don't give up your principals but also don't dismiss over half the population either. I work hard every single day and Romney did not cut it for me. There is a way for this Country to continue to be the greatest on earth. Hopefully we have a leader in our president and hopefully congress will end its do nothing at any cost current mission, on both sides!

  14. Excuse me...it is the Democrats that have dismissed one-half of the population, not the other way around.

YOUR WAY HAS not worked. Why do you believe it has?
