Sick Politics in Lake Worth

Comment Up

The sick Political Game
all for control

In today's Palm Beach Post is an article regarding the Commission District 2 race in Lake Worth about incumbent Christopher McVoy and challenger, Jim Stafford. I already wrote the only article I plan to write on Mr. Stafford. There is nothing left to say unless something really important or interesting occurs.

The comments at the end of the article are no surprise--both sides going back and forth on how good or how bad their candidate is but primarily cyber attacking to make points with one side looking at everything like a ball that is shaped like a rectangle--trying to re-invent it and clean-up the twisted wheel, all the while not giving a crap about Lake Worth and truly what's best.

  1. Lynn, you have long and consistently advocated against waste and corruption of City Staff, both on this blog and at commission meeting.
You have been a strong supporter of Bill Coakley, before, during and after his stint as Chair of the Electric Utility Board. I assumed it was because he was such a strong advocate of eliminating the waste & corruption.
Given all of that, I never understood why you didn't join Jim Stafford in his efforts to address the same matters that interested you.

  2. LOL--That sort of response is exactly what I am talking about regarding SICK politics in this city. Got an idea for ya--ask Bill Coakley since you're not getting it.

  3. I would assume Lynn didn't join Jim Stafford because he is a part of "the establishment." He even stated that in the article in the PB Post on Friday, that he will be able to more closely align his votes with the majority - in other words - with the establishment.
I thought Lake Worth had moved on from that kind of politics - apparently, there is more education to do here.
