  1. Lynn, what happened to John Szerdi? he pulled papers in December?

  2. That was my question. According to the city clerk, he has not filed his paperwork. Strange.

  3. I heard Mr. Szerdi was not running

  4. Perhaps then we can convince Suzanne to run again and make the Herald's dreams all come true.

  5. I have never quite understood anything he says when he speaks.

  6. If Szerdi is not running what about his strange yard signs?

    ReplyDelete
  7. I'm sure he just hasn't turned in the paper work yet. What does his yard sign look like?

  8. Some people just like to play games and wait until the last minute. We will know on the 21st.

  9. His signs are verticle with a diagonal cut across part of the top. They look like pointed hats.

  10. Come to think about it, Szerdi has a campaign account and has collected money. Unsure about the rules on this.

  11. I just saw one of his signs. I thought it rather clever although it was in an illegal location.

  12. Stafford years ago was the biggest bully in town. Not sure if Maxwell beats him in the bully department. It just keeps getting worse in this city.

  13. Maybe he grew up. 4 children will do that to you,and 2 are twins.

  14. Jim--come on out and apologize for all the horrible things you said and allowed othesr to say about people on your LakeWorthTalk.

  15. I don't know who he is but I heard he was a really mean guy. He also supported Waterman or so I was told. It's going to be a contest as to whom will be the biggest bully on the dais--maxwell, Triolo or stafford if he is elected. Can't wait for this election. Zowwee.

  16. Stafford? Give me a break. What a loser. This town really is going to pot.

  17. OH NO. STAFFORD WAS THE MOST DIVISIVE PERSON WHO EVER LIVED IN THIS CITY. OMG.

  18. I really like that word, qualified. Stafford has been out of the political scene for years. How come he doesn't know we have the absolute best recreation department especially the activities it offers for children?

  19. I heard the reason John Szerdi's signs were cut like that is because they still appeared to be a full sized sign, but actually only used 1/2 the material (i.e. cut in 1/2 diagonally). Sounds like the type of thinking we need in LW - how to cut costs and save resources without sacrificing effect.

Regarding Stafford - I can't stand listening to Mickey V pontificate about who the hell knows what he's ever talking about, but Stafford is about the only possible worse option there is. He's a typical blow hard, know nothing, ego maniac. This might be the first time I vote for a member of the Cabal. Sorry Jim but taking cute pictures doesn't qualify you to run the City.

Although it's true he did support Waterman, so maybe they are just stacking the ballot. Here we go again, a new push by the cabal to "take back the City." Damn, just when I thought we were finally going to accomplish some forward movement.

  20. Commissioner Mcvoy is an intellectual. No wonder you are having some trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Once and for all, Commissioner McVoy has higher education about SOIL and the environment as it relates to soil. I am not denigrating that education, but to call him an intellectual because of his degree in the soil sciences, honestly just means that the person who posted that, does not know what 'intellectual' means.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Does this mean because I have a masters degree in English Literature that LW would automatically call me an 'intellect' and assume I know how to run a city?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hopefully people we elect are smart enough to make correct policy for this city, communicate with the residents and represent ALL OF US and smart enough to hire the best city manager around--not fire one because they didn't like her personality. :)

  24. Rational rather than emotional. Unlike the mayor or maxwell
