collusion, corruption, at it's best, the city raft takes an award. Ha, Ha, Ha!!!! The Inspector General will be called in on Monday. And I do not Believe the Little Mermaid was ever a Broadway Show.
ReplyDeleteRight, was not a broadway show nor broadway musical.
ReplyDeleteWhat didn't they understand about no rules. LOL Personal favorite Mango Groves.
This was the first time I had attended this event. Herman Robinson should receive a standing ovation as I'm told this was his idea 10 years ago. The parade of rafts (floats) downtown was GREAT. People came out of stores and restaurants, stopped and waved. Next year, we need the Trojan Marching Band, but not in attire that would make them pass out from the heat.
ReplyDeleteFunky, quirky, strange and VERY entertaining. If I was not a resident here already, what I witnessed would make me want to move here. What a GREAT group of people.
Yes, the commissions entry was an engineering marvel and the other paddle wheeler was too.
All in all, it was Lake Worth at it's finest. Each and every one of us should be very proud to be a part of the Raft Race and hope next year's keeps getting better.
@Anons 6:01 & 12:01... Yes, Disney produced "the Little Mermaid" on Broadway, opening in 2008. But it was panned by critics (to be polite) so Disney chose to save the title & franchise further embarassment, and mercifully closed the show by mid 2010.
ReplyDeleteIf you guys can't get facts straight on something as unimportant as a bad musical, how do you function with genuinely important issues?
WHAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THERE ARE NO RULES IN THE RAFT RACE!!!
