In true Lake Worth tradition, do you think Stanton will get a lot of letters to the sarasota Commission like Boyer? Isn't it just like Boyer with an Agenda Item and a stating of reasons for his firing--oh, that is right--none of that happened. Must have been political.
Look, I think you are the one who has come up here before with your insinuation. Why not post under your own name and tell all of us what you are trying to tell us. I believe that I answered this once.
Let me ask YOU this, have you ever written anything nasty about Stanton in the Post or anywhere else?
The firing of Boyer was shocking, done at Midnight with no reasons given. That is the way little cowards do it. It was all poltiical.
The job of City Manager is hardly an undemanding position. Not many people can solve a myriad of problems involving hundreds of people and millions of dollars. Ms. Stanton has a set of skills few can match. She is honest, tireless and has incredible knowledge about how to run a city. However, not every city wants to make the necessary changes that prevent bad government – it loosens the control of self-serving arrogant individuals. “In a democracy, people get the government they deserve," If you wish good government, choose carefully.
So what you are saying is the reason fired city manager Susan Stanton has been unemployed for 7 1/2 out of the last 10 years and can't get hired anywhere now is because the decision makers are all self serving arrogant individuals that don't want to see improvement in their cities? How are any of these cities that DON'T hire her able to carry on? Why hasn't Lake Worth crumbled to the ground without her steadying hand and influence? I think Paul Boyer was more shocked that private citizens were writing nasty letters about him to cities where he was applying for jobs 1000 miles away than about getting fired. You were part of that letter writing group. Is that enough insinuation for you? See how the quicksand never goes away for you?
Boyer--shocked about politics? I doubt that very seriously. Produce a copy of any letter that I wrote regarding Paul Boyer to his city commission regarding his employment. The quicksand is in your big mouth.
Your years of unemployment for Susan Stanton are wrong. Please get your facts straight before you ever post on this blog.
Susan Stanton was hired within a few months of leaving LW in Ft. Lauderdale but is still seeking a city manager position so that she can utilize her skills and expertise in this field.
Ms. Stanton was fired from Largo for being a transgender after 17 years in March 2007. In April 2009, she was hired in Lake Worth and subsequently fired here on December 6, 2011, 32 months on the job. One of the underlying reasons was her transgenderism although official reasons were never given.
If you are going to be so stupid to attack people, at least get your facts straight. Stop calling people liars who disagree with you. See a priest.
