NAACP, who are they kidding?

Comment Up
What a bunch of phony crap! Here's a guy, Jerry Gore, President of the Martin County NAACP and Assistant Pastor of the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ in Stuart, being as "reverent" as they come.

Gore said that while he supports many of the things West does as a member of the Congress, as a non-partisan organization, the Martin County NAACP “don’t want nothing to do with” West’s “communist” comments.

“I don’t want to be a part of that politics stuff,” Gore said. “I don’t say things against people like that. We just don’t support that kind of stuff.” Read the rest of the story at ABC News.

Well, Jerry, why not tell everyone that the NAACP is one of the biggest and most influential lobbying groups in Washington. "The job of the NAACP Washington Bureau is to turn NAACP priorities, as approved by the national Board of Directors, into federal public policy through the legislative process. General topics include the promotion and protection of civil rights, securing a fair and equal criminal justice system, ensuring high quality educational opportunities for all Americans, a fair labor environment, and securing affordable adequate housing and health care for all Americans." Do you honestly believe, Reverend, that this does not involve politics?

The close connections between individual socialists and communists dates back to the NAACP’s founding in 1909, according to the Socialist Party USA. In fact, this socialist group says its members played an important role. We know, unequivocally, that Allen West believes in the opposite of socialism.

Everyone knows that the NAACP uses selective racism and is against anyone the least bit connected with the T-Party. At its national convention, Michelle Obama spoke and thanked the NAACP for helping get her husband elected. Is that not "getting involved in politics?"

In its motion, the NAACP said the Tea Party movement engaged in "explicitly racist behavior" and called for people to "stand in opposition to the drive to push our country back to the pre-civil rights era." That's what's behind Jerry Gore's rescindment of its speaker invitation to Allen West. The Tea Party supported West.

Get a grip, Jerry. It's all politics but yours is the phoniest of all.
