  1. It's burning and Bornstein is just getting started. He is getting his plan from Obama. Let's knock off the top 1% and hire more people below so that we can pay more top union wages and retirement benefits. Sounds like a plan.

  2. Get your resume updated. Bornstein will not give you a reason or a notice.

  3. I didn't hear Bornstein state publicly that he was firing the top 1% in the city (who is THAT exactly?) But he should definitely clean up the mess Stanton left behind and firing someone that was $3 million over budget on an $11 million project is a good start.

  4. Bornstein is into austerity starting with executive salaries.

I don't know how many times I need to say this BUT--
this project was NOT over budget until THIS COMMISSION voted to allow the extra costs.

An where WAS Scott Maxwell for the last 3 years? Where was he just a few weeks ago when he voted to SPEND $2 MIL MORE? We listened to him over the past year that he would NEVER vote for one penny over $11 mil for this project. Who can you believe? Who can you trust? Now everyone can sit around and blame this on Stanton and Margoles. I blame it on those who were allowed on our beach to gouge us. Who was watching the store? This commission voted DOWN hiring a project manager. Give me a freaking break.

Let's get more honesty and transparency here and we wouldn't always be having these discussions and spending MILLIONS more than necessary on just about EVERYTHING we undertake in this city. Everyone on every side of politics here is SICK OF IT.
