Allen West has big support everywhere he goes but there is always a handful of protesters too. These are the same people that protest anything that doesn't involve a hand-out from the government from cradle to grave.

Allen West ran 13.1 miles in a footrace for Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies yesterday morning. The Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies, also commonly referred to as TPIMS, is a non-profit biomedical research institute "dedicated to the discovery of causes, treatments and cures for a wide variety of diseases and afflictions including heart disease, cancer, AIDS, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, aging-relating conditions, and pain management.

As Allen West said, these people protesting in their blue jeans holding signs probably "should've run with me for 13.1 miles."
