Dusty said, the truth will set me free

Comment Up
Dustin thinking he was playing us like a fiddle spewing out facts of truisms, actually was played.

Believing in truth, justice and the American way, he wanted to believe all the big bad wolf stories about anarchists, losers and such. He didn't mind going on the attack just so long as "his word" got out. Being used did not bother him as he had justified it all in his mind, somehow, some way. He had to do it, he said to himself, afterall, that stupid commission turned me down for a city board appointment.

He managed to get out one anti Waterman mailer. Those who sent him contributions for this purpose were:

Laura Starr...$200 (both wife and husband as well as their law firm contributed the maximum in the last election and lost a bunch of money. They want to see a big return on Tuesday)
William Smythe...$200
Teresa Miller...$100 (one of those vocal people who fought for PBSO)
J. R. Frey...$500 (those illegal signs are STILL on his property)
Dwight Saxon...$500 (Secretary of The Lucerne Association and a Greg Rice connection)

And then he partied at The Cottage.

  1. So what is the problem Lynn, He did what he felt he needed to do... And I hope tomorrow his remarks about Waterman, earn us a new mayor. I am tired of feeling like I am back in Grade School every time I go into City Hall, the only thing missing is being escorted to the principles office. Oh wait Stanton thinks she is in charge of City Hall she must be the principle.. Time for her to go too.

  2. My only problem is not understanding Zacks and what was the real motivation behind him...the who...the what...the why I can figure out. Nothing is as simple as he wants us to believe it to be. Nothing in politics is that pure. There is always a catch. There is always something important for which we are kept in the dark.

  4. Lynn, you've just heard and seen too much over your many years on the beat!
I can't blame you for believing the conspiracy theory - after everything that's gone on here, who could?
But I at least hope you have a glean on the anarchist faction now...they really are real and really have a purpose.
I actually don't understand why you still don't believe it.
I believe the Oliver Stone version of the anarchist's existence over a secret group behind the Zacks initiative - but that's just me.

  5. The only catch is he got the truth out about Waterman, She is a Fraud being supported by Cara, and Peter, and we all know what they stand for. If not read his manifesto that was printed on the other 2 blogs

  6. Well, Waterman used her leftover campaign funds to print that "Hurricane Flyer". And didn't Drautz use his leftover funds to print the "No Peeing: Flyer?

Once you give any politician money you can't have any expectations when it comes to how it might be spent.

  7. To anon at 6:44 you have that right if Stanton could get away with not letting anything be known to the public she would be as happy as a clam at high tide. The tide has got to change, and Stanton has got to go

  8. People--It is not Susan Stanton. It is the Commission. Today the 5year projection was discussed on our finances. Not one person, at least while I was listening, questioned the special assessment that was in the budget for 5 years with the amount going higher. IT IS THE COMMISSION. Stanton will raise revenue any way that she is allowed to. IT IS THE 5 PEOPLE SITTING UP THERE.

  10. I agree with you that it is the commissioners who are allowing themselves to be lead around by the nose. They don't know how to say no. They could do a Maxwell and not have these meetings with her. You can bet if Pam or Andy are in there it will not happen.

  11. Hopefully when Pam is elected tomorrow, the first thing she will do is get an internal auditor in to find the missing money, and have enough against Stanton to get RID of her with as much publicity that she will never work again. Enough Is Enough, how much more can this City take.

  12. You are wrong Lynn it is Stanton and she has got to go. She has led us down the rosy path to near destruction. It is time for her to go.

  13. Down the rosy path, or through the wringer. I agree Stanton is the worst thing to happen to this City, In a LONG, LONG time.
