  1. Why is it taking so long for the Mayor to name her appointee to the Centennial Committee?

  2. It's tricky. You want to appoint just the right person with just the balance of respect within the community--someone with a big interest in our history...a long time resident would be my choice. Dena is a life-time resident of LW so that's a good one. Helen Greene is certainly an historian. They are all good choices so far. As long as they appoint a member of a Pioneer family, I will be happy.

  4. How does John Rinaldi represent District 4 when his business and residence are both in District 3?

  5. Sorry--the way I listed the appointments was to attribute the appointment to that particular district commissioner, not the district. It is misleading the way in which I wrote it.

  6. Retha Lowe? Really? Lowe must represent the years of corruption that the citizens have had to put up with over the last 100 years. She sure doen't represent the hard working honest people of Lake Worth!!
