ReplyDeleteInteresting article Lyn. These will be the very gangs that will take back this City if we rescind our merger with the Sheriff's Departmnet. Get used to seeing more of them around here if the present majority on the commission has it's way. They are making it easier for more and more criminals to feel at home in Lake Worth.
I decided to post this by Mark Parrilla in order to show you how some in this community have no understanding of the facts.
ReplyDeleteThere are over 56,000 gang members in the State of Florida. I suppose all of them will move to LW because our Commission is worried about the high cost of public safety to LW residents.
The entire commission appreciates the PBSO as do I. The goal is to look at reducing costs and to have LW a sustainable city.
We have been with the Sheriff's Dept for 2 years now. They have been in charge. There is no going back to where we were. We blew it our of fear. Management was always the problem with our own police force.

Gangs are all over Florida, not just in LW and this Commission is doing everything within their power to make LW a better place in which to live.
Have you ever noticed that these people are all negative about everything in our city. All gloom. It's enough to want to slit your wrists. Mark, take it somewhere else. Go park it. LW is climbing back up with no thanks to you and your little cry baby friends.
