Crime Watch for Lake Worth

Message from Robert Waples--

You will find the registration (South Carolina) FMC-324 attached to a ’04 Ford Taurus that was called in as a [suspicious vehicle] late yesterday in the 800Blk Snowden Drive. An unknown B/M occupant exited and approached 826 Snowden Drive and knocked on the front door. The complainant/owner didn’t open her door, but spoke to the B/M through the window and he asked if he could clean her windows. She declined and he left on foot toward 6th Avenue South and was picked up by the car.

The attached photo was taken by the complainant’s husband. When I viewed the photos, I remembered pulling up beside the car and four black occupants last Thursday in front of 1012 North ‘G’ Street. All were casually dressed and three of the four (one Female driver) were wearing Santa hats and my first thought was a church group. Let’s keep an eye out for the vehicle and FIR the occupants as I don’t think they were out Christmas caroling.

Just remembered: On 11/21/2010 Alpha Squad responded to 915 North Dixie Highway, Metro PCS store in reference to an armed robbery where two B/M suspects, one armed with a handgun, pistol whipped the clerk, stole cash and fled on foot to a gold colored Ford Taurus/Mercury Mystique occupied by two others and fled the scene. Use caution when approaching.
