Lantana is sticking it to its Senior population

Lake Worth seniors could be living in Lantana.

I am not sure which is worse--Charging $50 an hour for Seniors to play bingo in a building for which they already pay taxes to maintain, or shutting down an entire building and handing it over to illegals... a population that is growing far more rapidly than Senior citizens.

Here in Lake Worth, the City first took away low cost trolley transportation for Seniors and then proceeded to eliminate the Senior Center and the Shuffleboard Court building where they used to play Bridge. We are, after two years, getting the Shuffleboard Court Building back for the Recreation Dept. Perhaps things will get better for Lake Worth Seniors. Not every service has to make money and a society is judged on how it treats its elderly.
