  1. Besides the $11,000 lien against West for his taxes, and the $5k in late credit card bills, here's some other snippets on the "Change" West wants to bring to our government:
    May 5, 2010 - $964.50 for overdue maintenance fees and attorney costs.
    * lien released on June 22, 2010
    March 13, 2009 - $611.66 for overdue maintenance fees and attorney costs.
    * no release record found on file
    Feb. 19, 2007- $995.00 for overdue maintenance fees and late charges.
    * lien released on March 30, 2007
    Sept. 14, 2004 - $295.00 for overdue maintenance fees and late charges.
    * lien released on Nov. 16, 2004
    Sept. 7, 2004 - $366.00 overdue maintenance fees, late charges and attorney fees
    * lien released on Sept. 13, 2004

  2. Col. West has explained all of this. He is working on some credit card debt...credit card debt is not an unusual thing. He has paid off a lot of debt that developed while he was overseas. So, what's the beef? He is a guy who pays off his debt unlike some who file bankruptcy or allow the government to pick up the tab. He is against all this entitlement mentality. And so am I.

  3. This link will tell you about it all. The tax lien was filed against personal property, not a home and was paid off within a few months.

  4. Look, whoever you are...he was in a war. He was not playing ring around the rosey. Do you know WHAT a war IS? Have YOU ever been in one? Have you ever been a leader of men? Did you EVER listen to his explanation? NO, I am rather sure you did not. While he was fighting a war, you were probably off with some peace sign somewhere. You would rather throw some stupid stones.
