Arizona, Returning to the Rule of Law

In many ways, Arizona law is very skillfully and carefully written to restate existing federal law. Arizona's SB 1070 makes it a misdemeanor, in the State of Arizona, to enter the State from a foreign country without proper documentation. It specifically and statutorily prohibits racial profiling/discrimination by any state or local law enforcement official or government agent.

"If 20 million illegal aliens returned 'home', the U.S. Economy would return to the rule of law. Employers would hire legal American citizens at a living wage. Everyone would pay their fair share of taxes because they wouldn't be working off the books. That would result in an additional $401 Billion in IRS income taxes collected annually, and an equal amount for local, state and city coffers."

As elected officials, our Commission should be doing its duty to support the laws of this country and not make resolutions that supposedly speak to the feelings of every citizen in Lake Worth. 80% of Americans want to protect our borders. If our Commission advocates the breaking of laws of the United States, then it is their duty to step down.

“Education”: $22.5 billion; Bilingual Education: another $3.3 billion; Fed’l Aid to Families with Dependent Children: $2.4 billion; Social Security: $24.8 billion; Housing assistance: $2.6 billion; Criminal justice: $2.6 billion; Jobs lost by Americans: $10.8 billion; Other programs: $51.4 billion; Food stamps: $7 billion; Healthcare: $1.4 billion. Who is paying for this Commissioners?

Financial numbers have been exploding because of our government not taking care of business. This is not just about taxpayer money paying for services for people who do not belong here..it is about our Commission advocating the breaking of federal law and sticking their noses in the business of another State while the City of Lake Worth has a $2.7 million dollar deficit starting off this new budget cycle.

Our elected officials need to take care of our business, not someone else's.
