That's what the opponents of Amendment 4 want you to believe. The Florida Chamber of Commerce and its friends are spreading the BIG LIE. In reality, "it was the building industry that contributed to the state's recession with years of overbuilding that resulted in hundreds of thousands of vacant homes and plummeting property values."
