Mayor's Clean Up Day

The City of Lake Worth says "it is proudly sponsoring the first annual Mayor's Cleanup Day."

Bryant Park tomorrow -- 9am to 3pm. The purpose of the event is to promote code compliance and help eliminate blight throughout the community. The event will begin and end in the Bryant Park Bandshell.

Participants had to sign a waiver releasing the City from any damages should they get injured or experience any damage from this walking event. Registration was limited to the first 250 that signed up. T-shirts will be distributed on a limited basis.

Following the clean-up there will be refreshments and live music.
