Building Bridges

Comment Up

I don’t know who was behind the Ana Rodriguez shocking outburst yesterday at the swearing in of Scott Maxwell but I can take a good guess. It was all setup and planned.

Commissioner Jennings was conspicuously absent from the proceedings. It was a good thing she stayed away because she would have been booed out of the chamber right along with Ana.

Ana was told a pack of lies regarding Maxwell. She believed it and was incensed to riot. Ana said, “Immigrants deserve to be treated with dignity and respect just like everybody else.” We agree to that statement regarding immigrants. Scott Maxwell agrees. We would like, however, for illegal aliens to enter our country legally. What about Scott Maxwell’s dignity and respect? What about his wife Paula? What about his son Scott? What about all the citizens who were in the Chamber? This is the problem with people who don’t understand the facts.

“Building Bridges” just won’t happen with some groups or people who show no compunction in demeaning someone's character even going so far at times as to involve their favorite editor in the lie...incensing someone else to do or say just about anything. Lake Worth deserves much better.

  1. Congratulations and very good luck to Scott. I think he will be a balanced and fair Commissioner. Yesterdays protest did no good for anyone. It was embarrassing, not persuasive. If you want me to even entertain your point of view, give me something to entertain, not just a bunch of ridiculous ,pointless name calling.

  2. Lynn,

Is it Ana or Amy......Jim or Ron Exline?

  3. I changed it to Ana. OK? Ana was used by open border people and in this case, her message is more important than the name. At least the correct photo was used to identify her. She is or was not running for office or a public figure. JIM Exline IS the guy who went to prison and was a public figure. All corrected now. :)
