  1. All of those sheriff's office resources are there on a daily basis anyway, so what's the difference, besides free hot dogs and soda?
    What stupid stuff goes on.

  2. this is going to be on N B St where all the illegals hangout. that is what this is for. Summer fun, my butt. Surprised that the Mentoring Centr is not mentioned.

  3. Geeze, the Sheriffs have an open house and two posters jump on it.

I'm going to go and take my daughter. Any time they have an open house we should all go and take our kids too. I don't care what you feel about BPSO or our own PD!

I cannot believe you can see a bad side to this!

    Get a life people!

  4. Hey "Tomspage" ~ I think that your views on the beach issue are as stupid as your views on this issue.
You're the one that needs to "get a life".
Lynn is 100% correct about the beach, we are 100% correct about this. WHY is this event not in Bryant Park? WHY is it in the ghetto? I wouldn't go there if you paid me. Have a great time with your daughter over where the gangs and illegals flourish. Better you than me.

  5. It's very nice free dogs and soda for illegals. will they please pass out fliers on not peeing on my bushes there? You know, you really have to live in this neighborhood to understand what is going on here. We have to live with this every day. Giving stuff to kids is fine. No one begrudges that. It is all the rest of the abuse we have to endure all of the time. These people have tons of kids who will learn to pee on bushes.

  6. ....and "pee everywhere" they do!
I go to CVS to pick up my wife to take her to her cancer radiation treatment daily and I see them peeing against the wall at CVS by the bus stop. Outrageous!

  7. Dear Anonymous,

I cannot agree with you at all. Byrant Park and the surrounding neighborhoods are very nice. For all of those who bemoan the conditions around B street, I would suggest that an open house there is far better when it comes to helping clean up the area. I would have thought people would have applauded the Sheriffs having more of a presence there.

Oh well, people do have other opinions and I think supporting the Sheriffs in a part of our city that needs more help than Bryant park is a good idea.

By the way my name is Tom McGow. I also think that putting my name with my opinions is a good idea too!

  8. Its just a fact. These illegals have no upbringing or understand how to act in public. You just dont piss when you feel like it. If they are legal then they should be taught dont take a leak where ever they feel like it. That should be part of the imagration test of what you should and shouldnt do. Whats the heck is the matter with these people?

  9. For the record, I just posted the event. I did not make a comment about it one way or the other. It was posted as City News.

  10. Tom you're wasting your time. Lynn's friends were against PBSO from taking over from the beginning. They will never admit when PBSO does a good thing. It's a great idea to have the event in the "ghetto". There's prostitutes in every corner of the city. Bums hanging around Publix begging money from everyone. Why no complaints about that?

I supported the take-over from day 1 and am so glad I did.
The event in the ghetto is a STUPID idea.
So much for your illogical "logic".
(...and there aren't "prostitutes in every corner of the city", either.)

  12. Wow,

So much discussion for a simple post. In retrospect I should not have made the "get a life" comment.

Also it's so hard to figure out who is saying what when everybody is saying when everyone is anonymous! So I'll make one last comment because the waters are just to muddy here to tell who is talking!

Over the past year and a half I had a house next door to me with drug dealers and prostitutes living in it. The men would urinate outside my daughters bedroom window (and no they were not illegal aliens). With the help of the LWPD and then the PBSO along with many neighbors we were able to get these people out of the neighborhood.

My point here is that law enforcement, no matter what name they fall under, are for the most part great people trying their best. And having them have an event in ANY part of our city should be supported.

  13. Then it sounds like you'd rather have it at L & 4th?

  14. Dear anonymous,

That's so cool, you know where I live! How clever of you to post it here! Actually North L and 5th would be much closer to my house!

I would think the PBSO has reasons for having this event where they are, so as I stated before, I support this type of activity where ever they choose to have them.

  15. Hey Tom! Did you ever catch any bass over there in Quail Ridge? Woo-ha! they gots some big ones in there! Easy to catch, too!

  16. Anonymous,

You're quite clever too, unfortunately I think the information you found regarding Quail Ridge is likely from my father. He had the same name and passed away some time ago.

Thanks for taking the time to find out more about me!
