Flip Flops might just mean being cautious

Does anyone have ANY idea as to what is going on at City Hall regarding every issue imaginable? The direction seems to change every two weeks. Earth to City Hall...come in!

Our new city manager says, and this is repeated many times so that it will sink in, that the Commission is in charge of POLICY issues...she runs the city and makes the decisions. The direction on this, that, and the next thing changes bi-weekly. I am sure the new CM is making sure that her decisions are correct and is being very cautious, dotting the i's and crossing the t's.

Ms. Stanton will be receiving a certified and sealed engineering report tomorrow that states the Casino building is able to be renovated. If we are going to renovate the building, spending money on shoring is just another waste of tax dollars.

  2. Well, that is what some would like you to believe. Building Inspectors are not going to sign off on the building and would prefer taking the worst case scenario in their approach to our Casino. It is always doomsday with them.

I think that if the tenants are being told by the Boynton Beach Building Inspector to get out of the building in 30 days that the Commission should declare an emergency, hire Straticon, and proceed with the renovation.

Let's get this project completed. The Commission agreed to renovation. Let's do it.

  3. Ms Stanton's increasingly bizarre behavior and statements on many issues (traffic lights that are just TOO LONG,darling )makes this resident thankful that she has no contract (thank GOD ) ! and can be terminated by our commission. The sooner ,the better. This bird that we welcomed into our little Lake Worth nest seems to have turned out to be a Cuckoo !!!
