Today was the auction for the unpaid tax certificates worth nearly $152 mil. All that were up for auction other than 2,861 properties were picked up for their taxes. The winning investor has 48 hours to pay off the taxes and then the owner of the house can buy back the certificate from the investor for a big percentage.
