Prescription Drug Prices

Donald Trump Just Delivered the Biggest Drug Price Drop Since Before the Beatles Existed

Americans paid more for prescription drugs each year that Barack Obama was president. The government just released new numbers that every network is scrambling to explain away. The Left spent years telling you drug companies were untouchable. They were wrong.

In May 2025, Trump signed an Executive Order demanding Most-Favored-Nation pricing – meaning Americans would pay no more for a pill than the lowest price any developed nation pays for that identical drug.

Democrats called it a fantasy. Trump called it a promise. Then he started collecting signatures. Pfizer signed in September 2025. AstraZeneca signed in October. Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk – the two companies that control the most expensive drugs in America – signed in November, slashing Ozempic from $1,000 a month to $350 and Wegovy from $1,350 a month to $350.

Biden's IRA negotiations covered a handful of Medicare drugs and moved slowly through a bureaucratic process. Trump's MFN executive order went directly at the pharmaceutical companies themselves and forced public commitments within months.

Your grandfather paid less for his heart medication last month than he did last year. That is a real thing that happened because one president decided American patients deserved the same deal every other country already had.

In February 2026, TrumpRx.gov was live – a direct platform letting Americans buy medicines at MFN prices without fighting their insurance company.

Digital Brands moves from California to Texas

Digital Brands Group Moves to Texas After CEO Says, “Doing business in the state of California sucks.”

Digital Brands Group is leaving California and moving its headquarters to Round Rock, Texas. CEO Hil Davis offered a blunt explanation for the decision.
Davis told Fox News Digital, “Doing business in the state of California sucks.”
The Round Rock Chamber announced the relocation in a press release, describing it as a major economic development win for the city.

“Founded in California and known for its innovative approach to blending apparel brands with e-commerce technology and data-driven consumer solutions, Digital Brands Group’s relocation marks a significant win for economic development in Round Rock.”

The chamber also pointed to Texas’ business climate and workforce as reasons companies are choosing the state.

So I ask, why not Florida? Actually, businesses are moving to Florida from California alongside Texas. Both states share major pro-business benefits like no state personal income tax, but Texas has captured more massive corporate headquarters (like Tesla, HP, and Chevron) due to distinct industrial and geographical advantages.

South Florida (Miami, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach) has seen an enormous influx of hedge funds, venture capitalists, and tech executives who prefer Florida's lifestyle and financial sector ecosystem over Texas's industrial footprint.

Michael Caruso arrested

Michael caruso was arrested today

Palm Beach County Clerk of Court Michael "Mike" Caruso was arrested and suspended from office on August 18, 2026, on criminal charges related to child sexual abuse.

Following the arrest, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued an official order suspending Caruso from his duties as Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller.

Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed's half-sister -- All in the family

El-Sayed's half sister is a Muslim Communist too

Democrats in swing states love a good family ad. Dad at the grill. Kids on the lawn. Maybe a golden retriever for good measure. The messaging is always warm, relatable, aggressively normal. It’s designed to make you forget that the candidate’s actual policy positions would make your head spin.

But here’s the thing about family ads — they’re curated. And sometimes the most telling detail isn’t who made the final cut. It’s who got edited out. In Michigan right now, a Democratic Senate candidate is running a slick campaign built on heartland imagery and kitchen-table promises. One very important family member, however, didn’t make the reel. Wonder why.

From The Post Millennial:

Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed’s half-sister is a far-left University of Chicago professor who has advocated for a “stateless, communized society,” called for abolishing police, was arrested during an anti-ICE protest for spitting on a cop, celebrated the October 7, 2023 massacre, and has called for a “student intifada.”

What makes this genuinely damaging for El-Sayed isn’t just his sister’s rap sheet. It’s how neatly her positions mirror his own.

How foreign governments handle U.S. Aid

67 Governments Fail US Transparency Test: New Release

The State Department’s annual review of how foreign governments handle public money found that most of those assessed cleared the bar and a large minority did not.

The report is the closest thing Washington has to a report card on where US aid dollars can actually be traced. What did it say?

State of play
The tally is stark. Of 139 governments and the Palestinian Authority, 73 met the minimum fiscal transparency standard and 67 did not. Of the 67 that fell short, 14 made significant progress toward the minimum over the past year. The review is broad. The assessment covers governments that receive US assistance, judging whether the public can see how that money is raised and spent.
By the numbers
The split is close. Of the 140 assessed, 73 cleared the bar and 67 fell short, a near-even divide. Most failers are stuck. Only 14 of the 67 are improving, leaving 53 that showed no significant progress toward the minimum.
Foreign aid is under the microscope. With the administration paring overseas spending, a failure of transparency is now a direct argument against writing the next check.

Transparency deters graft. Open books make it harder to divert funds, so the standard is a first line of defense against corruption in recipient states. It exposes where aid disappears.

New York Doubles Down on Sanctuary: Helping ICE at the Jail Becomes Illegal Next Week

Albany is not merely being “compassionate.” It is obstructing federal immigration enforcement after local government has already arrested the defendant.

The Supremacy Clause is not optional, and state judges have a direct command written into the Constitution: “the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby.” New York cannot gag jailers, sabotage ICE handoffs, outlaw cooperation Congress authorized, and then pretend federal law is a polite suggestion.

Sanctuary is nullification with better branding. [Alexander Muse]

Democratic Socialist Chevalier

Trump Rips Democratic Socialist Congressional Nominee Over Past Anti-Police Posts

President Donald Trump tore into New York Democratic congressional nominee Darializa Avila Chevalier on Friday over past social media posts in which she referred to law enforcement officers as “pigs” and supported abolishing policing, asking a crowd of officers, “Who the hell is she?”

Chevalier, who received backing from the Democratic Socialists of America, won New York’s Democratic primary in June, defeating incumbent Rep. Adriano Espaillat, D-N.Y. She has also received the endorsement of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

Before the June primary, CNN’s KFile reported that Chevalier had deleted several controversial social media posts. Among them was a 2021 repost declaring, “ALL PIGS EVERYWHERE ARE HARAM.” The report noted that “haram” is an Arabic term referring to something that is forbidden.

In another post from 2020, Chevalier responded to another social media user by describing “abolishing” the police as “ending policing full stop.”

Trump seized on those comments Friday while appearing alongside Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel before a crowd of law enforcement officials on Long Island. The president was also there to boost New York Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman.

During his remarks, Trump attacked Democratic socialists, describing them as “communist[s]” who support policies including “abolishing the police, abolishing prisons, abolishing qualified immunity, abolishing all immigration enforcement, and giving amnesty to 50 million illegal aliens.”

Then he addressed Chevalier directly

Save America Act desperately needed

Minnesota just proved the need for the SAVE America Act

Watch how easy Minnesota just made voter fraud look, and tell yourself the SAVE America Act isn't needed for national and election security.

James O'Keefe and Cam Higby went undercover at Minneapolis polling places on the state's primary day, dressed in Muslim attire and using broken Arab accents, and simply asked poll workers what it would take to vote without ID. You already know what the answer was going to be.

Under Minnesota law, one registered voter can "vouch" for up to eight other people at the polls--with zero photo ID required. "If you're all in the same precinct and you have already registered, you can vouch for them as ID. Eight people," one poll worker told O'Keefe on hidden camera. Another told him simply: "You're the ID."

No ballots were cast and no affidavits were signed, but the ridiculous holes in the elections system were exposed. The videos prove that Minnesota's own election workers were ready to wave eight strangers through the door on nothing but a different stranger's word.

But instead of thanking the two citizen journalists for catching a hole in the system before it got exploited for real, Democrat Secretary of State Steve Simon turned around and threatened them. Not the poll workers who said "you're the ID." Not the statute that makes this possible in 50 states with similar loopholes. He threatened the guys who exposed it

That's the whole ballgame in one reaction: protect the vulnerability, punish the people who found it. This is exactly why the SAVE America Act, requiring actual proof of citizenship to register and a real photo ID at the polls, no exceptions, isn't some far-right fever dream.

It's the bare minimum a functioning republic with democratically held elections requires, and Minnesota just proved it in living color.

Ro Khanna, considering running in 2028

Another "progressive" with a big smile and nice teeth

Some of his negatives

Khanna has called for halting both offensive and defensive U.S. weapon shipments to Israel due to human rights violations, co-sponsored the "Block the Bombs" bill, and attempted to strip defense-tech integration provisions from the National Defense Authorization Act.

He has characterized Israel’s military campaign in Gaza as amounting to genocide and signed resolutions acknowledging the Nakba (Please Google that). He became the first member of Congress to sign the Track AIPAC "PEACE Pledge," explicitly refusing campaign donations from major pro-Israel political action committees like AIPAC.

PEACE Pledge stands for Pledge to Enforce American law, Counter foreign influence, and End war crimes. It is a political commitment created by the advocacy group Track AIPAC to challenge the influence of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and other pro-Israel political action committees.

West Bank Incident: In July 2026, Khanna was briefly detained by armed Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank, after which he sharply criticized the Israeli military's handling of the situation and the actions of settlers.

Israeli officials, military representatives, and U.S. figures disputed his account. Critics and officials labeled the trip a political "stunt" into a restricted area without clearance, and argued that video footage and official responses showed no actual violent detention or threats at gunpoint, but rather a standard security clearance of a blocked roadway.

He was a member of the Biden campaign's national advisory board and defended Joe Biden's performance.

And to top it off, he supported Graham Platner.

Jewish Owned Event Venue cancels Rashida Tlaib, the anti-semetic

Jewish-owned Fort Lauderdale venue pulls plug on Rashida Tlaib rally days before Florida primary

A Jewish-owned event space in Fort Lauderdale canceled a progressive rally headlined by Rep. Rashida Tlaib just hours before it was set to begin, citing security concerns after learning the full scope of the event, forcing organizers to scramble for an outdoor backup.

The Venue Fort Lauderdale posted a cancellation notice Thursday night after reviewing promotional materials for the "Chomp the Oligarchy" rally, which was scheduled for Friday evening, four days before Florida's Democratic primary.

The venue said it had become aware of the "full scope" of the gathering and could not proceed. Organizers moved the event to an alternate outdoor location, where roughly 300 supporters showed up and Tlaib appeared as planned.

The cancellation landed at the intersection of two fault lines running through the Democratic Party: an increasingly bitter fight between its progressive and establishment wings, and an unresolved reckoning over antisemitism that party leaders have spent years trying to manage.

Tlaib, the first Palestinian American woman elected to Congress, was censured by the full House in 2023 for embracing the slogan "from the river to the sea." She has described the phrase as "an aspirational call for freedom, human rights, and peaceful coexistence" from Palestinians. Many Jewish Americans, and a bipartisan majority of her own colleagues, heard something very different.

The rally's organizers, operating under the banner of a progressive nonprofit called Gen Z for Change, posted on Instagram that they "will not be silenced by racist right-wing agitators and conservative Democrats." They pledged to "keep fighting to deliver for working-class Floridians."

The Washington Examiner reported that Gen Z for Change had actually lost two venue reservations for the event, not just one, a detail that underscores how toxic the Tlaib association had become for local businesses.

Peter Navarro’s Great Transshipment Scam report is a warning shot to the world: stop cheating America.

China did not beat Trump’s tariffs. It tried to launder its exports through more than 40 countries, swapping labels, routing containers through third countries, and sneaking goods into the U.S. under lower tariff rates.

Navarro calls it what it is: modern smuggling. Mexico, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and others are now on notice. The Trump administration is done letting Beijing use paperwork, shell routes, and fake origin claims to rob American workers and Treasury revenue. [Peter Navarro]

Children's gender designation in school

Rep. Eugene Vindman cursed at transgender activists and stormed out of a Virginia town hall

First-term Democratic congressman Eugene Vindman exchanged profanities with transgender activists at a town hall in King George County, Virginia, then walked out, exposing the party's deepening rift over gender policy even as polls show most Americans, including most Democrats, reject its activist wing's demands.

Three transgender activists confronted Vindman at the King George County event, demanding he reverse course on his support for GOP-backed limits on gender-related school policies.

Vindman, who represents a competitive Virginia district and is running for reelection, tried to defend his vote for a Republican-sponsored bill requiring parental notification when schools change a child's gender designation on official documents.

The exchange escalated fast. An unnamed transgender committee member shouted at Vindman to "shut the f*** up." Vindman fired back and headed for the exit.

On his way out, Vindman told the activists: "You can't f***ing talk to me that way." He later issued a written apology.

Vindman voted for the parental-notification bill, and his base made him pay.

Islamic marriages

Different marriage to make the point

Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed set to share stage with Pakistani cleric who admitted marrying off his 13-year-old niece

Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic nominee for Michigan's U.S. Senate seat, is scheduled to headline an Islamic convention in Detroit that also features a Pakistani cleric who admitted arranging the marriage of his teenage niece, and whose anti-Jewish rhetoric prompted Canadian activists to seek a visa ban.

El-Sayed is listed on the convention itinerary for the Islamic Society of North America's 63rd annual gathering, set for September 4, 7 in Detroit. His panel, titled "Cultivating God Awareness in a Turmoiled America," is scheduled for September 5.

Also on the convention roster: Tariq Masood, a Pakistani mufti, a cleric qualified to issue religious rulings, who in a 2021 sermon admitted to the marriage of his 13-year-old niece, according to multiple Pakistani media reports cited by the Washington Free Beacon.

El-Sayed's campaign did not respond to a request for comment.

The convention lineup raises pointed questions for a candidate who has built his national profile partly by attacking President Trump and Republicans as "pedophile protectors" over the handling of Jeffrey Epstein-related files.

El-Sayed is now set to appear at the same event as a cleric whose recorded statements about child marriage were so alarming that Canadian activists in 2024 urged their government to block Masood's visa, citing what they called his "pedophilic rhetoric."

DSA-backed candidates won primaries across five states this cycle – including unseating the chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus in New York and a 30-year incumbent in Colorado – in what the DSA itself called a political "shockwave."

The co-chair of the DSA told reporters this summer their goal is to "replace capitalism with socialism."

ICE deports criminal illegals

ICE removes gang members convicted of manslaughter, attempted murder, and sexual assault

Immigration and Customs Enforcement deported five illegal immigrant gang members with convictions ranging from manslaughter to sexual assault, part of what DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin called delivering on "President Trump's mandate from the American people."

The deportees, removed over the past week, belonged to four separate criminal gangs and held convictions across at least seven categories of violent and drug-related offenses. Three were Mexican nationals. One came from Honduras. One came from the Dominican Republic. All five had criminal records that stretched well beyond a single charge.

Mullin framed the removals as a direct public-safety gain. Breitbart News reported the secretary's full statement, in which he ticked through the categories of offenders ICE had put on planes.

Compliant Technologies Built a Glove That Stops a Fight Without a Single Bullet called G.L.O.V.E.

Tom Homan Just Laid the Leather on Critics of the New Gear He Got for ICE

Assaults on ICE agents have spiked more than 1,300 percent since Trump took office. Now the agency wants to arm agents with something besides a firearm.

The tool Homan just defended is already dividing Washington before agents even get it. DHS is planning to spend up to $20 million on a device called G.L.O.V.E., short for Generated Low Output Voltage Emitter. A Kentucky company called Compliant Technologies LLC builds it.

The glove looks normal until an agent activates it, then a single touch delivers a jolt strong enough to stop a combative suspect cold. No projectiles, no chase, no split second decision about pulling a trigger.

The manufacturer's own guidance keeps agents from using it on senior citizens, kids, pregnant women, or anyone with a serious disability.

ICE says agents will have to renew their certification every two years and are expected to try standard de-escalation tactics before ever reaching for the glove. DHS could start handing the gloves out as early as March 2027.

We don't vet anything or anyone it seems

Two federal agencies gave taxpayer dollars to charities with ties to terrorism

Every American understands a fundamental bargain with their government: you earn the money, Washington spends it responsibly, and at bare minimum, not a single dime ends up in the hands of anyone who wants to destroy this country.

After September 11th, that bargain was reinforced with solemn promises. New vetting systems. Tighter oversight. A national commitment that federal agencies would never again let money slide toward organizations with connections to designated terrorist groups.

Those promises, it turns out, were hollow. This week, investigative reporting revealed that two major federal agencies have been doing something so breathtakingly reckless that every American who has ever written a check to the IRS deserves a direct explanation from the people responsible.

Fourteen organizations with documented terrorist affiliations and extremist ties collected nearly $80 million through refugee resettlement and health grants. The crown jewel of this spending spree? The Council on American-Islamic Relations’ California chapter, which pocketed a jaw-dropping $42.2 million to provide services to Afghan refugees.
  • The State Department and HHS directed roughly $2 billion to charities flagged for terrorist connections.
  • CAIR received $42.2 million from HHS despite documented Hamas ties and FBI blacklisting.
  • A mosque linked to 9/11 hijackers received $340,000 in taxpayer-funded federal sub-grants.
  • Eighty-seven percent of the HHS grants to these organizations were approved under Biden.
  • Direct financial support to Osama bin Laden

CRIME: 2025 had the lowest violent crime since 1937

FBI data shows violent crime and murder rates hit historic lows in 2025

The FBI's latest crime report shows murder fell 18.1% in a single year and the national homicide rate dropped to a level not seen since the Eisenhower era, numbers President Trump called "the best crime record in recorded history."

The bureau released detailed data from its Uniform Crime Reporting Program on Friday showing every major category of violent crime declined in 2025, with murder and robbery each dropping by roughly one-fifth.

FBI Director Kash Patel, who had previewed the findings in a May announcement, called the results "the single largest decrease in violent crime and murder since 1937."

U.S. District Judge Allison Burroughs, an Obama appointee, lifted her administrative stay on Friday, allowing the termination of Temporary Protected Status for Somalis to take effect.

According to the source report, that stay had been in place for 50 days while the administration waited for a real order it could deal with through the normal appeals process.

Murderer Mangione told the court he built the gun with a 3-D printer

Luigi Mangione pleads guilty to federal stalking charges in UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson killing

Luigi Mangione admitted in a Manhattan federal courtroom Friday that he shot and killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, a guilty plea that could now upend the separate state murder case against him.

The 28-year-old defendant, hands uncuffed behind his back and ankles shackled, stood in a beige prison jumpsuit and read from a written letter before U.S. District Judge Margaret Garnett. His voice was solemn, close to choking up, as he delivered the words that ended months of legal maneuvering.

Mangione pleaded guilty to two federal counts, interstate stalking resulting in death and stalking through use of interstate facilities resulting in death, charges that carry a maximum sentence of life in prison.

The plea spares him a federal trial that had been set to begin in January, but it opens a new legal front: his defense team plans to argue that a separate New York state murder prosecution would amount to double jeopardy.

In his written statement, Mangione laid out the mechanics of the killing in plain, declarative language.

Trump's Iran Strategy : Cause them Economic Pain

Trump shifts Iran strategy to economic pressure, concedes munitions are tight and no direct talks underway

President Trump now says the United States is "low-keying it" with Iran, relying on a naval blockade and economic pain rather than the "massive attack" he once threatened, while acknowledging that key munitions are running short and that no direct negotiations with Tehran are actually taking place.

In a phone interview with Axios reporter Barak Ravid, Trump framed the shift as strategic patience, not retreat. "We are just watching Iran with its huge inflation and the fact they have no money," he said. "We are only semi-negotiating with them."

Asked about the stalled conflict, now more than five months old, Trump offered a breezy forecast: "It will work out. It always works out. It's like a chess game."

The remarks amount to a significant course correction. Trump had previously threatened Iran with overwhelming force, repeatedly promised an "imminent" deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and called earlier reports of a munitions shortage "treasonous."

Now he is publicly conceding that high-end weapons stocks are "a little bit tighter" and that Iran is not, in fact, sitting across the table from American negotiators.

American Missionary released after nearly 10 months

Christian Missionary Released

An American Christian missionary kidnapped outside his home in Niger in West Africa has been released after more than nine months in captivity and is now in the care of U.S. officials, his mission organization announced Friday.

Kevin Rideout, a longtime missionary and pilot with SIM International, was abducted in Niger’s capital, Niamey, on Oct. 21, 2025. SIM said Rideout is in good health and will soon be reunited with his wife, Krista, their children and extended family.
“We are grateful to confirm that our good friend and brother in Christ, Kevin Rideout, has been released,” SIM International said in its announcement.
The organization credited people around the world who prayed for the family throughout the ordeal and asked the public to respect their privacy as they reconnect after months apart.

The release closes a harrowing chapter for a family that had spent nearly 10 months waiting for news while U.S. officials tried to locate Rideout in one of the world’s most dangerous regions.

Democratic Socialists of America told Wilmington to "screw off"

Wilmington officials remove more than 30 unauthorized DSA benches from city bus stops

City and state officials in Wilmington, North Carolina, pulled more than 30 illegal bus stop benches built by Democratic Socialists of America activists, and the group is now pressuring local leaders to let them put the propaganda back.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation removed 20 of the benches on August 6, and the City of Wilmington hauled away the rest the following day. The benches had been installed at city bus stops starting in April without approval from the city, the local transit authority, or the state. They carried political slogans, "We Must Have Mass Social Housing!" and "Liberation for All," among others, and sat on public rights-of-way where political messaging is prohibited.

Wilmington City Attorney Meredith Everhart laid out the violations in a statement first reported by WECT-TV on July 6. The benches, she said, "were not approved by the city or WAVE, aren't the correct type of bench, aren't ADA compliant, didn't go through the required permitting process and carry political messaging, which isn't allowed in public right-of-ways." WAVE is Wilmington's transit system.

The DSA chapter ignored the city's requests to take the benches down. Instead, the group launched a pressure campaign, posting a petition on its website and framing the project as an act of civic virtue.

So the benches were not just benches. They were, by the group's own admission, ideological infrastructure, placed without permission on public property, branded with socialist slogans, and defended as a demonstration of what DSA governance would look like.

The Medicare for All study claims a single-payer system would save more than $1 trillion and prevent more than 114,000 deaths, but the “projection” is really a spreadsheet of wishful assumptions.

Cheaper drugs, Medicare-rate providers, lower administration, reduced fraud, fewer hospital visits—each gets entered like a fact, then the total gets sold as science. The arithmetic may add. The premises collapse.

Trump, who has defended data centers as they face resistance in many communities, touted the growing coalition at a July 23 event at the Environmental Protection Agency headquarters, where he was joined by four of the governors.

Thursday’s announcement came after President Donald Trump issued a memorandum in March 2025 to remove the DEI policies instituted under the Biden administration.

The memorandum directed the State Department to revise the 2022–2025 “Decision Criteria for Tenure and Promotion in the Foreign Service” by removing references to “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility.”

Immigrant groups want to protect Illegals from the Law

Lake Worth Beach urged to rethink PBSO contract extension over fears of immigration crackdown

It's all about ICE and allowing anyone to enter our country uninvited

Immigrant rights groups on Thursday gathered outside Lake Worth Beach City Hall to decry the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office 287(g) enforcement agreement with federal immigration authorities.

The groups are urging members of the Lake Worth Beach city commission to reject a proposed 10-year contract extension with the sheriff's office.

Their argument: “Lake Worth Beach has an opportunity to decide what kind of community it wants to be,” said Renata Bozzetto, Deputy Director of the Florida Immigrant Coalition, (a group that wants all people to live and work without fear) “A 10-year law-enforcement agreement that expands collaboration with federal immigration authorities deserves far more scrutiny than a routine contract renewal."

"We have hundreds of families who are [being] separated, hundreds of kids who are left without a mom and a dad who are either in detention or deported at this moment," Bozzetto said. "It's hurting the community on a daily basis."

Lake Worth contracts with PBSO for 24/7 public safety services. PBSO provides everything from top command officers to school crossing guards, allowing the city not to have to fund its own police department.

The Lake Worth Beach city commission is expected to discuss the proposed extension with PBSO on Aug. 18.

The city will also supply a dedicated local district office for the assigned deputies. Annual cost could total nearly $16 million for the contract. Additional law enforcement services are billed at hourly rates of $142 for a deputy and $183 for a sergeant.

Chris Matthews warns 'regular Democrats' on the DSA

Chris Matthews tells fellow Democrats to distance themselves from socialist wing before election

Veteran political pundit Chris Matthews urged Democrats running for office to publicly reject the Democratic Socialists of America and its platform, warning that failure to draw that line will cost the party in the final stretch of the campaign.

Matthews, appearing on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Wednesday, laid out what he called a straightforward political survival strategy: every Democrat on a ballot who is not a card-carrying member of the DSA needs to say so, loudly and clearly, before voters head to the polls. The DSA, he argued, has done the work for them by publishing exactly what it stands for, and now mainstream Democrats have no excuse for staying quiet.

His comments land at a moment when the DSA's electoral influence is no longer theoretical. Socialist-backed candidates have already unseated sitting House incumbents in primary races this cycle, and the organization's footprint inside the Democratic coalition keeps expanding, whether party leadership wants to acknowledge it or not.

Matthews did not hold back on the broadcast. He framed the DSA's public platform as a gift to every non-socialist Democrat willing to use it, telling the "Morning Joe" audience:
"The DSA has done a favor to non-DSA Democrats, to regular Democrats who are regular members of the party. They've listed what they believe in. Their chair made that clear."
When figures like Matthews and Maher, both longtime fixtures of the center-left media establishment, start warning their own side that the socialist label is politically toxic, the party has a problem that goes beyond messaging.

The United States is striking back against the global network of scam centers with a two-pronged approach—dismantling the criminal infrastructure globally while proactively identifying victims to stop the harm.

Over the past 14 months, the FBI has seized $15.2 billion in illicit funds, made hundreds of arrests, taken down nine scam compounds, and notified more than 9,900 victims, 77 percent of whom were unaware they were targets.

The agents also shut down 8,000 terminals connecting the scammers to the rest of the world, “depriving them of the very oxygen they need to operate,” Patel said.

President of Colombia Pro-Trumper

Colombia's conservative president takes office in Cali, citing Jefferson and vowing to restore order

Abelardo de la Espriella, a 48-year-old conservative lawyer who ran as a pro-Trump ally, was inaugurated as Colombia's president Friday in a historic ceremony held outside Bogotá for the first time in over 200 years, and his predecessor refused to show up.

De la Espriella took the oath of office at approximately 4:30 p.m. local time at the Arena USC amphitheater on the campus of the University of Cali, breaking with more than two centuries of tradition that placed every Colombian inauguration in the capital.

Senate leader Honorio Miguel Henríquez Pineda administered the oath, presented the presidential sash, and delivered a speech outlining the challenges the new administration inherits. De la Espriella then swore in José Manuel Restrepo as vice president.

The choice of Cali, the capital of the southwestern state of Valle del Cauca and one of the regions hardest hit by armed groups, was deliberate. De la Espriella told Colombian magazine Semana he picked the city as a "symbolic" gesture of his administration's promise to fight criminal and terrorist organizations.

The symbolism carried weight: earlier in the week, police intercepted a bus loaded with 420 kilograms of explosives near Cali, a plot allegedly led by a FARC commander.

Hawaii Democratic congressional candidate faces mounting felony charges after beach brawl caught on video

He lost in the Democratic primary on August 8, 2026

A Democratic congressional candidate in Hawaii now faces felony terroristic threatening charges after allegedly pulling a knife on a beachgoer during a confrontation caught on camera, the latest in a string of arrests that includes a gun incident and an assault on a hospital nurse.

Kirill Basin, 40, was arrested August 1 at Keawakapu Beach in South Kihei, Maui, after an argument over loud music spiraled into a physical fight that left him knocked unconscious and ended with police hauling him away on two counts of first-degree terroristic threatening.

Fox News Digital reported that Basin shoved a beachgoer named Kama Homan, then swung a beach chair at him. Homan pushed the chair away and knocked Basin out cold.

But the confrontation did not end there. Prosecutors allege in an August 5 court filing that Basin, after regaining consciousness, reached into a small black bag and told Homan, "Do I have a gun? I'll kill you," before pulling out and brandishing a knife. He also allegedly told bystanders, "I'll put you in the ground."

Vance frames el Sayed's agenda as a direct hit on Michigan's auto industry

Vance targets Michigan Democrat el Sayed as a threat to auto workers and the middle class

Vice President JD Vance is sharpening his attacks on Michigan's new Democratic Senate nominee Abdul el Sayed, calling him unfit for office and warning that his economic agenda would punish the very workers he claims to champion.

Vance appeared on Fox News's Saturday in America and unloaded on el Sayed just days after the former public health official defeated centrist Rep. Haley Stevens in Michigan's Democratic Senate primary.

The vice president framed the race as a clear test of whether Michigan voters want an economy built around industrial jobs or one organized around government redistribution to politically favored groups.

The clash matters beyond Michigan. The open Senate seat, left vacant by the retirement of Sen. Gary Peters, is rated a toss-up by the Cook Political Report.

Republican Mike Rogers, a former congressman who lost to Democrat Elissa Slotkin by fewer than 20,000 votes in 2024, will face el Sayed in November. A pickup here could shift the balance of power in the Senate, and both parties know it.

NYC Democrat Socialist Rent Advisor is a deadbeat tenant

The daughter of a famed music studio owner is being sued for allegedly squatting in a New York City apartment for years

She has refused to pay rent to her Black landlord for four years...drove him into bankruptcy

Tracy Rosenthal, the 39-year-old daughter of Steve Rosenthal, has been on a 'rent strike' for the last four years after moving back to the city from Los Angeles.

Rosenthal claimed during a North Carolina Democratic Socialists meeting that her two-bedroom $2,300 apartment in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood was riddled with cockroaches, the New York Post reported.

Tracy Rosenthal has no official title in communist New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s office. Her informal title is “Rent Advisor,” which is interesting considering the fact that she’s a deadbeat who hails from a wealthy show business family and has not paid her rent in four years.

According to the Post, Rosenthal's landlord, Adetunji Akinboboye, lost at least $108,000 from her unit alone and he lost the building to foreclosure in 2023. 'We've been on rent strike ever since,' she championed.

Now it belongs to the Bank and now she faces legal action and eviction from the building. New owners, US Bank, who claim that she and at least two other tenants have 'squatted on the premises,' records filed in November claim, court documents viewed by the Daily Mail claim.

Evening Sky 8-12-26

After last Tuesday’s primary contest in Michigan, where Marxist/Islamist candidate Abdul El-Sayed won the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate, there was much prognostication.

It was a race barely won, and if it had not been for a third candidate, who had since dropped out, El-Sayed would probably not have been successful. It was certainly not the supposed blowout that everyone had predicted for the Democratic Socialists (Marxists) of America-supported candidate.

However, the real story behind that race, which has been a consistent theme, is that Black Democratic voters do not want to be the “useful idiots” of these intellectual elite, privileged white Marxists/Islamists. Abdul El-Sayed tanked with Black voters in the Michigan Democratic Senate primary. The same can be said for Zohran Mamdani in New York City.

The exit polls are very telling: the main support for these Marxists emanates from college-educated, privileged, leftist elites who embrace their knowing better than you about your life, liberty, and freedom. [Col Allen West]

Russia and North Korea more involved in Ukraine War

Russia is firing North Korean missiles at Ukraine, Zelenskyy claims, as more overnight attacks kill 9

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russia of using North Korean ballistic missiles in its attacks, as another night of bombardment killed at least nine civilians and injured dozens of others.

Zelenskyy said Russian forces used ballistic missiles supplied by North Korea in their attack on the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia, where local officials said six people were killed and 19 wounded.

"Every step Russia takes — increasing ballistic missile production, bringing in North Korean equipment, preparing for mobilization — all of this shows that Moscow is preparing not for peace, but for escalation," Zelenskyy said on social media.

Nuclear Strategy being rewritten

Pentagon Rethinks Tactical Nuclear Options

The Pentagon is rewriting its nuclear strategy to give the president more options short of all-out war. The review would raise the profile of smaller, shorter-range weapons for regional conflicts. Here is what we know.>br />
The facts--
  • Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Elbridge Colby is leading a nuclear strategy review aimed at building more credible options for a president facing a regional nuclear threat.
  • The shift favors tactical weapons. It would place greater emphasis on shorter-range, lower-yield warheads rather than reaching first for heavy strategic arms.
  • It is a strategy review, not a formal posture review, a narrower vehicle that can move faster and commit the department to less.
The scenario is a regional attack. The strategy is built for a case in which China or Russia strikes a U.S. ally with a small weapon, forcing Washington to choose between doing nothing and escalating to a full strategic exchange.

Colby would de-emphasize damage limitation, the long-standing goal of a massive strike to destroy an adversary’s forces, without eliminating it.

Secret Pact revealed: AG's plotted lawfare against Trump

Trump Vindicated as Secret Pact Reveals 22 Democrat AGs Plotted Lawfare Before 2024 Election

President Trump’s warnings about coordinated Democratic lawfare received fresh support after a secret agreement revealed that at least 22 Democratic attorneys general were preparing for legal battles against a future Trump administration before the 2024 election.

The pact, later tied to what became known as the “Project for Federal Accountability,” preceded nearly 100 lawsuits challenging Trump’s administration after he returned to the White House.

According to The Center Square, the document outlined preparations for coordinated litigation involving a potential Trump administration. The agreement was reportedly signed months before Trump defeated his Democratic opponent.

State attorney generals kept it quiet. The coordinated effort later became known as the “Project for Federal Accountability” and later appeared in then-New Jersey Democrat Gov. Phil Murphy’s 2025 budget. Murphy never publicly mentioned the project while unveiling the budget.

Palestinian students sue Columbia University

After settling antisemitism claims, Columbia now faces lawsuit from Palestinian students

A new lawsuit accuses the university of biased disciplinary proceedings, surveillance of pro-Palestinian activists and creating a hostile environment after Oct. 7.

Filed in New York State Supreme Court, the complaint accuses the university of encouraging the mistreatment of Palestinian students by holding “unfair and biased disciplinary hearings” and creating a “hostile and unsafe environment” following Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel that sparked university-wide protests and tensions on campus

The lawsuit alleges that the university “actively participated in and amplified the racially, ethnically, and politically motivated targeting of Palestinian students, staff, and faculty.”

The case is the latest in a string of legal battles born out of Columbia’s handling of campus protests.

In July 2025, the Ivy League university on New York’s Upper West Side agreed to pay $21 million to settle charges by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission that alleged a hostile work environment for Jewish employees as a part of its federal resolution agreement with the Trump Administration.

Politicians Turn Blind Eye to National Security Threat as Terror-Linked Muslim Brotherhood Celebrates Election of Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan

Abdul El-Sayed’s Michigan nomination is no ordinary left-wing upset. It is a national-security flare.

When the Muslim Brotherhood’s own media celebrates a U.S. Senate nominee as defeating “Zionists,” Americans should pay attention.

RAIR’s report ties El-Sayed’s rise to the Red-Green alliance: DSA socialism, CAIR-world networks, anti-Israel politics, Hasan Piker radicalism, and Democrat Party cowardice.

Ted Cruz put the question where it belongs: what happens when organizations with documented Brotherhood and Hamas-adjacent histories celebrate a candidate seeking access to the United States Senate? [Fair Foundation]

Thune stalling Trump's Agenda

John Thune Sends Senate Home for 37 Days, Schedules 11 Sessions to Block Recess Appointments

The Senate is heading into a 37-day recess. But the chamber will not simply close its doors and stay away from Washington.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune has scheduled 11 pro forma sessions during the break. These brief sessions are expected to involve no votes, debates, or meaningful legislative work. Instead, a lone senator periodically opens the chamber, gavels in, and gavels out.

The Senate had its first session on Monday, August 10, at 10 a.m. Regular Senate business is set to resume on September 14.

The schedule includes the following pro forma sessions:

Monday, August 10, at 10:00 a.m.
Thursday, August 13, at 8:00 a.m.
Monday, August 17, at 1:30 p.m.
Thursday, August 20, at 11:30 a.m.
Monday, August 24, at 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, August 27, at 8:00 a.m.
Monday, August 31, at 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday, September 1, at 12:30 p.m.
Friday, September 4, at 10:00 a.m.
Tuesday, September 8, at 1:15 p.m.
Thursday, September 10, at 3:00 p.m.

The dates were confirmed by the official Senate floor schedule. On paper, the Senate is in recess. Procedurally, however, these brief meetings keep the chamber technically available to conduct business. Political parties use these brief meetings to stop the president from making temporary "recess appointments" to federal offices or judicial seats while Congress is away.

In other words, it's all bull and Trump views pro-forma blocks as a maneuver by the "swamp" to stall his agenda.

D.C. crime down big time after First Year of Crime Task Force

Trump's D.C. crime task force marks one year with more than 16,000 arrests

The Make D.C. Safe and Beautiful Task Force just hit its first anniversary with over 16,000 arrests, a record that backers call proof the federal crackdown is working and critics say came at enormous cost.

Attorney General Todd Blanche marked the milestone with a statement crediting President Trump's leadership for what he called "extraordinary results" in the nation's capital.

The task force, which launched August 11, 2025, brought together the Department of Justice, the U.S. Marshals Service, the National Guard, and local police in a sustained law enforcement surge across Washington, D.C. The numbers released to Fox News Digital ahead of the anniversary paint a picture of a city-wide operation that went far beyond routine policing.

Among those 16,000-plus arrests: 35 homicide suspects taken into custody, more than 100 known gang members arrested, over 3,200 narcotics arrests, and nearly 2,000 illegal guns pulled off the streets. The task force also located 25 missing children and returned them home.

Overall crime in Washington, D.C. dropped significantly, with recent annual metrics showing total violent crime decreasing by roughly 29% to 35% and property crime decreasing by about 23%, powered by steep declines in motor vehicle thefts and robberies.

DNC out of cash and done with Kamala

Former DNC fundraiser warns major donors are done with Kamala Harris as party runs out of cash

A former Democratic National Committee fundraiser says big-dollar donors have no interest in backing Kamala Harris again, and that the party's lurch toward socialism and its refusal to hold anyone accountable for a billion-dollar losing campaign are driving contributors away for good.

Lindy Li, who once raised money for the DNC, appeared on "My View with Lara Trump" and laid out what she described as a full-blown financial crisis inside the Democratic Party. Li pointed to Harris's 2024 presidential campaign, which, combined with the pro-Harris Future Forward super PAC, burned through roughly $2.5 billion, and said donors who watched that money vanish without a victory have stopped returning the party's calls.

Federal Election Commission filings show Harris's principal campaign committee alone reported approximately $1.18 billion in disbursements during the 2023, 24 cycle. Li's broader $2.5 billion figure includes aligned super PAC spending.

Either way, the numbers represent one of the most expensive losing campaigns in American history, and Li says the fallout has left the DNC so cash-strapped it pledged its own headquarters building as collateral.

"There's been no accountability. The autopsy that they sent out was basically a sham, and they couldn't even stand behind it. They didn't even mention the fact that Kamala Harris is a terrible candidate."

That refusal to face facts, Li argued, is exactly why donors walked.

The War that goes on and on

Iran Again Refuses to Reopen Strait of Hormuz Unless US Meets Demands

Trump said on Aug. 9 that the United States was only semi-negotiating with Iran after the regime demanded multiple concessions.

On Sunday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that an agreement on the establishment of a new maritime route in the Strait of Hormuz had entered the “final stages.”

However, Araghchi reiterated the regime’s position that the new shipping lanes would not be opened until the United States agreed to Tehran’s demands.

On Aug. 8, Iranian Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohammad-Bagher Zolghadr said the United States would need to comply with multiple demands for the Strait of Hormuz to reopen.

The demands included the United States ending its war with Iran, removing the naval blockade, withdrawing military troops, lifting sanctions on the regime, releasing blocked Iranian assets, paying damages caused by the war, and avoiding future threats against Iran.

“I see that Representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran are asking for compensation for the damage done to them during the last five month Military Conflict (started because, THEY WILL NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON), even though it was never mentioned in any of our negotiations or meetings!”wrote Trump.

In response to Tehran’s demands, Trump demanded compensation from Iran for all of the people killed and wounded by the regime’s roadside bombs and conflicts.

Trump added that the families of hundreds of thousands of innocent protesters killed by the regime over the past 50 years, including the 52,000 people he said were killed in the past five months, should receive compensation.

“I have instructed my representatives to put this firmly into any, and all, future negotiations,” Trump said.

Socialism and antisemitism keep finding each other because both need scapegoats.

The Nazis wrapped state power, racial collectivism, and Jew-hatred into one murderous machine. The Soviet Union persecuted Jews under the language of class, loyalty, “rootless cosmopolitanism,” and anti-Zionism.

Today’s Red-Green left is walking the same poisoned road under softer branding: democratic socialism, anti-colonialism, Gaza activism, “equity,” and “human rights.”

Mike Huckabee is right to sound the alarm. Jew-hatred is not a side effect of the new left. It is becoming one of its organizing principles.{Luthmann]
