Talarico disappeared

James Talarico Changes His Flu Story While Denying Mental Hospital Rumors

Texas Democratic Senate nominee James Talarico is speaking publicly again after a two-week hiatus. In interviews with NBC and MS Now, Talarico said he had been dealing with the flu while denying reports that he was admitted to a mental-health facility in Ohio.

“I just had the flu,” Talarico said. He also insisted that he was feeling better after the unexplained absence, which had prompted speculation online.

The Gateway Pundit had previously reported an allegation that Talarico was admitted to the Lindner Center of HOPE in Mason, Ohio. According to that report, an employee at the facility allegedly confirmed during a recorded phone call that Talarico had been “just discharged.”

Spencer Pratt @spencerpratt: "This isn’t a case of the “flu” with Talarico…this is a case of “one flew over the cuckoo’s nest”. x.com/spencerpratt/s

  1. Spencer Pratt said: “Campaigns are brutal, and not everybody is cut out for it,” his post concluded. “You need very thick skin. As much as I don't want Talarico anywhere near government, I also don't want wish him harm, and no political office is worth having a breakdown. His awful advisors are at fault for this. They pushed him to be something he isn't, and it didn't work. I'm praying that this isn't true, and he's OK. You want to win these fights on the battlefield of ideas, not the minefield of poor health.”
