The Lake Worth Beach Pier will be temporarily closed beginning Friday due to hazardous wave conditions
The closure is expected to remain in effect throughout the weekend, with plans to reopen the pier Monday, weather and ocean conditions permitting.Officials emphasized that while the pier will be closed, the beach itself will remain open to visitors. Restaurants, shops and other businesses located at the beach will continue normal operations during the temporary closure.
Visitors are encouraged to use caution near the shoreline as elevated surf conditions continue to impact the area. [WPBF-25]
Incredible how the king tides are starting so early this year and they've already taken like two or three feet of sand depth off the beach incredible it was really really crazy yesterday!
