Carville predicts Fetterman will leave the Democratic Party: 'I don't think there's any doubt'
James Carville, the veteran Democratic operative who helped elect Bill Clinton, went on CNN Friday and said what much of Washington has been whispering for months: he expects Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania to leave the Democratic Party. Wolf Blitzer pressed Carville on the question during an on-air exchange, and Carville did not hedge. The prediction lands at a moment when Fetterman's own words, votes, and alliances have already built a compelling case that he is halfway out the door. What remains unclear is whether the Pennsylvania senator jumps to the GOP, declares himself an independent, or simply continues to operate as a Democrat who agrees with his party less and less on the issues that matter most.
But Carville's public assessment, from a man who has spent decades inside the Democratic machine, strips away any pretense that this is just media speculation. When one of your own party's most recognizable strategists tells a national audience that a sitting senator is likely gone, the fracture is no longer theoretical.
Former Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia walked the same path, eventually leaving the party and registering as an independent.
"My observation, and recommendation from observation, would be, John, trust me, set yourself free and become an independent. It's liberating."Read about it...
Fetterman chided Trump for his continued insistence that extensive voter fraud swung the 2020 presidential election.
ReplyDelete"I don't know why the president is dragging up all of this stuff," Fetterman said on CNN's July 19 "State of the Union." "You're the president. Do something positive, and you are talking about 2020."
Even 400 illegal voters in New Jersey is too much! And there's probably hundreds of thousands of illegal votes that have happened and it's all excessive and unprecedented that we need to address this we need to have the save that passed and we need to check for voter ID for every single person who votes and stop all these mail and ballots and all this lunacy from the liberal left! Stop making excuses for all your sin and your hate! Man up!
DeleteWell, anonymous at 6:16, he nor does any other Republican want election fraud. Nor should any American.
ReplyDeleteFetter is in it for Israel that’s the lone reason he’d support trump, get real.
ReplyDeleteFetterman is for the betterment of America. He has increasingly become an independent-minded maverick within the Democratic party and agrees with Trump on defense of Israel, border security, and the Senate filibuster among others..
ReplyDeleteIt is just all about cheating for the Democratic party and even some of the rino Republicans too all a bunch of cheats! That's why they don't want to pass the save act! They don't want protections for our votes in the United States so many have sold their souls to the devil! Our country needs a lot of prayers right now! Pray for all these cheaters and all these haters and all these self-serving bastards!
ReplyDeleteHow is he for the betterment of America aside of not having Iran nuke us which was never gonna happen?
