'Double sided CEASEFIRE!' Trump holds off 'destructive force' in Iran for two weeks
'We received a 10 point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate'About 90 minutes before the 8 p.m. deadline, President Donald Trump announced Tuesday evening he was holding off on the "destructive force" with which he had threatened Iran.
Trump said on Truth Social: "Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks.
"This will be a double sided CEASEFIRE! The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all Military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning Longterm PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East.

So we went to war with a country but during that period never once stopped their ability to pump nor ship oil. We allowed that to continue despite them blowing up our regional bases and their repeated attacks on their neighbors. They then shut down an international waterway, held the whole world hostage by it, and we just agreed they can control and charge fees for that waterway going forward. Meanwhile, the regime didn’t change. They still have nuke materials and missiles. Americans are dead. We’ve spent and lost many billions. But our leader claims we have won the war.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a miracle worker as President especially in an excursion that has lasted under 40 days. We never agreed that Iran could control the Strait of Hormuz and charge fees. That was part of Iran's 10 points that Trump threw in the garbage. Change to watching Newsmax and get the real news. Yes, we spent money to keep a nuke off your head. You don't mention the billions Obama/Biden sent to Iran that has helped them build their energy to obliterate the world. That was ok with you.

If he had dropped a nuclear bomb on Iran you would have agreed with it and mocked and made fun of anyone who didn't. You've become part of the cult and he is your Master.
