America’s great museums have become time machines stuck in reverse, programmed to make visitors ashamed of their own history. Walk through the halls of the Smithsonian today, and you’ll find yourself on a guilt tour through every perceived American sin, with barely a whisper about the triumphs that built the greatest nation on Earth.

These taxpayer-funded institutions, which should be celebrating our national story as we approach America’s 250th anniversary, have instead transformed into temples of self-flagellation.

Their “Center for Restorative History” doesn’t even pretend to be neutral, openly declaring its mission to “resist exclusions” and “imagine a more just and inclusive future” – academic speak for replacing patriotism with perpetual grievance.
