The US government's own National Institute on Drug Abuse states that "some research suggests that marijuana use is likely to precede use of other licit and illicit substances". "The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) is seeking the public’s help in identifying a female suspect involved in a theft by distraction incident at the Family Dollar store located in the 1200 block of South Dixie Highway. The theft occurred on September 16, 2024.

According to PBSO, the suspect stole a plastic bag containing cash from a customer while both individuals were inside the store. The victim was distracted, allowing the suspect to seize the opportunity to steal the cash.

Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was arrested outside Trump International Golf Course on Sunday afternoon after Secret Service found him hiding in the bushes with a rifle.

Details of the shooter's life are being filled in after the shocking assassination attempt, which is the second attempted killing of Trump in a few months.

A pickup truck outside Routh's Hawaii home had a Biden-Harris bumper sticker. In social media posts, Routh echoed rhetoric from Biden and Harris alleging that Trump is a threat to democracy.

A neighbor in North Carolina, where Routh lived until recently, said she is shocked at what Routh did, but he made people uncomfortable.

In a press conference Monday, Martin County Sheriff William Snyder called the apprehension of Ryan Wesley Routh Sunday afternoon the “highest profile stop” in the agency’s history. Snyder gave his deputies high praise for stopping the suspect without incident.

Footage of Routh being apprehended Sunday afternoon was released Monday by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

In the body camera footage, Routh’s hands are raised and a pink shirt is over his head as he’s taken into custody.

“I am thankful to the men and women of this sheriff’s department that put themselves in harm’s way,” said Snyder.

All of this unfolded shortly after what the FBI calls an apparent assassination attempt on former President’s Trump life. Snyder says solid communication with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office played a pivotal role in locating the suspect fast.

Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said Sunday that a witness was able to take a photo of the suspect’s fleeing SUV and its license plate.

Following a second assassination attempt on President Trump, America First Legal (AFL) launched investigations into the Biden-Harris Administration’s records regarding Ryan Wesley Routh.

Routh, a convicted felon, was charged in U.S. District Court with two gun crimes. Routh is a political partisan who reportedly “hates Trump” — he has reportedly called on Iran to assassinate the former President and has claimed that the former President is a threat to “democracy.” Notably, Routh repeatedly traveled to Ukraine and very publicly recruited Afghan and other volunteers for the Ukraine Foreign Legion, a ground unit of the Ukrainian Army.

Given Routh’s criminal history and Ukrainian activities, there is reason to believe that he has been an individual of concern to the U.S. government.

The FBI revealed that they have investigated Ryan Wesley Routh, a 58-year-old convicted felon, in 2019 following a tip about his possession of a firearm, as announced during a press conference by special agent in charge Jeffrey Veltri of the Miami FBI field office.

The tip surfaced while Routh was residing in Hawaii, but the allegations could not be substantiated after the complainant denied providing the initial information and the FBI subsequently relayed these findings to local law enforcement in Honolulu.

“I can also share with you that he was the subject of a previously closed 2019 tip to the FBI where it was alleged he was a felon in possession of a firearm,” Veltri said. “And following up on the tip, the alleged complainant was interviewed and did not verify, I repeat, did not verify providing the initial information.”

Federal prosecutors in Brooklyn say Asif Merchant, 46, spent time in Iran before traveling to the United States to recruit people for the plot.

Merchant told a confidential informant he also planned to steal documents from one target and organize protests in the United States, prosecutors said.

The defendant named Donald Trump as a potential target but had not conceived the scheme as a plan to assassinate the former president, according to a person familiar with the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Court papers do not name the alleged targets, and no attacks were made. As president, Trump had in 2020 approved the drone strike on Soleimani.

Lake Worth Beach man accused of opening fire on sanitation employees in Lake Worth Beach

A Lake Worth Beach man is in jail after investigators say he fired shots at a group of sanitation employees.

It happened Tuesday afternoon on South Lakeside Drive in Lake Worth Beach where investigators with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting.

Court records show the victims, all employees with the City of Lake Worth Beach Sanitation Department, reported a man on a bike started shooting at them.

According to court records, the suspect was Oleg Arshinov of Lake Worth Beach. Court records show the employees told investigators that Arshinov originally approached them and told the workers they needed to move their trucks. The workers explained they would move when they were done collecting trash bins but Arshinov began threatening them.

Investigators said, "[the victim] said Arshinov got in his face and [the victim] hit him after telling him several times to get out of his face."

Jamie Brown, Interim City Manager and Director of the Public Works Department, sent WPBF the following statement:

"Yesterday, there was an incident involving City of Lake Worth Beach Public Works employees and a man with a weapon on a bicycle.

Our dedicated solid waste collectors work hard at their jobs, and we are saddened they were threatened while trying to do their jobs.

Fortunately, no one was hurt, and we thank the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office for their quick action to apprehend the man."

The liberal media dutifully rushed to defend the vice president, claiming that Trump's assertion was false — which it is not. In doing so, misleading publications like the New Yorker not only drew greater attention to Harris' desire to mutilate illegal aliens' genitals using taxpayer money, but to their own propagandic nature.

Time magazine, another publication whose writers evidently underestimated Harris' radicalism, was among the offenders. Confronted with the truth of Trump's claim, it had to issue an embarrassing correction Wednesday.

Social Security beneficiaries may see a modest increase in their benefits next year, with The Senior Citizens League (TSCL) forecasting on Sept. 11 that the cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for 2025 will be 2.5 percent, the lowest level since 2021.

Though the COLA has been higher in recent years due to record inflation—notably 8.7 percent in 2023 and 5.9 percent in 2022—TSCL’s forecast suggests a return to more typical levels of benefit adjustments.

The Social Security Administration (SSA) is set to announce the official COLA for 2025 in mid-October.
