Blue states poised to copy California’s gas-car phaseout

Here are the states that have signed on to California's vehicle standards and may be next to ban the sale of gas-powered cars:

Maine
Washington
Connecticut
Oregon
New Jersey
Maryland
Delaware
Colorado
Rhode Island
Minnesota
New Mexico
Virginia
Nevada
Pennsylvania

“Whether or not these requirements (fully electric vehicles by 2030) are realistic or achievable is directly linked to external factors like inflation, charging and fuel infrastructure, supply chains, labor, critical mineral availability and pricing, and the ongoing semiconductor shortage,” said John Bozzella, the president and CEO of the Alliance for Automotive Innovation.

We just aren’t ready for so much clean energy, yet. Even now, experts are saying that the reason that Europe is undergoing an energy crisis is because of their green energy policies.
