The Taliban has upped its game. There is no way we can get out of Afghanistan now.
The Taliban don't want anything. Hard to bargain with people who don't want anything. Tough Pashtuns and Tajiks, they've lived in their tribal villages for thousands of years.
You saw Lone Survivor: That's the way they live. No infrastructure, no schools, nothing. That's the way they want it. Nothing for us to blow up but Poppy Fields.
Well, they have an army Lynn. I'd hate to think that they've been sitting there for 18 years, and haven't made some advances toward their own security. There's really nothing else we can do for them.
