My interpretation of this picture, is that in the end, all that will be left when this administration is over, is a burned out man and a tattered flag. I wonder what the artist intended. It certainly is not a painting depicting a victorious leader. It hardly compares with the painting of Napoleon Crossing the Alps, or Washington Crossing the Delaware.
