Heather James,
daughter of Shilah James, the city manager's Executive Secretary
Tuesday night's commission meeting was delayed by about 20 minutes as the commissioners were behind closed doors conferring on legal matters. So, Heather played her flute. Heather is 14 years old and has been accepted at the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts.
Prior to the commencement of the regular city commission meeting, the mayor asked her to play the Star Spangled Banner.
