Until we kick growth whores like Hal Valeche and Priscilla Taylor out of office this crap will keep happening. This works out to .23 of an acre per home. YUCK ! Another 3,000 cars minimum on Lake Worth Road . GREAT !!!

Lynn you sold these types of properties as a Realtor and more over yiu should know THIS PROPERTY IS NOT IN THE CITY OF LAKE WORTH!

and how do you get 3000 cars from under 1000 homes?

it's also highly unlikely that the new owners of these soon to be build homes will be threatening the little City of Lake Worth with purchasing power - this crowd will be spending $500k+ for homes and would prefer to shop at the Wellington Mall, and eat way out west where this plot of land is rather than rumble down our rugged streets and rub elbows with drug addicts and rehab failures mooching for money to go get high.

Did I say anywhere that this was Lake Worth? You have decided to miss the point entirely @7:23...most do with developer mindsets.

And one more thing, anonymous at 7:23, I sold timber land in Louisiana consisting of 87,000 acres to the Nature Conservancy--I sold with preservation in mind--not lining the pockets of developers.

DUH! to 7:23. How do you think these people are going to get to their homes. Just drop from the sky. 3000 cars let me see?? yes, 2 per household = 2000 and then add the teenagers car = 3000 cars and god help us if there are more than 1 teenager driving. Yep they probably will be shopping in Wellington because Lake Worth does not have any upscale shops, has a high crime rate and really crappy pothole ridden streets. Where would I shop knowing this? It's a no brainer.

I shop at the Gardens Mall, it's the best! (But is was a cow pasture before too!)

They can have Wellington and I hope that John Goodman chokes on his next peanut butter and jelly or baloney sandwich in prison.

Traffic already SUCKS in this area! Just keep throwing people into Palm Beach County.

Looks like this spot would have been perfect for a baseball stadium.

But the Braves want land for FREE. This land cost what, $69 million or something? AND, they pay ZERO IN TAXES.

So your telling all of us that you only sold 87,000 acres of timber land in Louisiana? I'm glad you sold it to the Nature Conservancy, I'm a financial supporter of the Nature Conservancy.

So if that's all you sold, then why do you have a Real Estate Brokers license in Florida? It's expensive to keep a license up in Florida and we don't have reciprocally license agreements with Louisiana so I'm left with one conclusion, you must have used your license which was issued in 1983 to sell real estate in Florida... Why else would you spend the money or energy to keep your Brokers license current thru 9/30/17 and still proclaim yourself a retired realtor? I'm fairly sure that during your 35 years as a real estate Broker that you and or your sales people who worked for you sold homes... And very likely homes in new developments, and if Loretta Sharp was still around she'd back up that you sold property built by builder developers.

So get off your high and almighty horse.

I am not a retired REALTOR. I am retired from the real estate profession holding a broker/salesman license. I worked in Palm Beach and did not sell ag property as an example to developers. And I never said that was all I sold but I was an administrator.

Actually why I still keep my license current is not your business.
So I believe it is you who needs to get a grip. Hope you're not one of those mentally challenged people running for office who has a lot of time doing research on me. Get a life.

I've got a life... And why give up such such a rich, juicy and intriguing cast of characters posing as influence peddlers - you included Lynn. As a celebrity blogger… You are part of the public fabric and as such subject to further scrutiny. So you better smile for that picture, and watch what you say because it could come back to hunt you.

And while I'm not currently running for any office, perhaps I should… I would so be thrilled by sitting up on the dais and saying "I call the vote" and watch your face get all twisted like you're constipated.

Since you are a little twisted anonymous poster, I can tell you right out that I wouldn't vote for you. Neither would your doctor.
