Lake Worth High School Alumni Foundation Hat Luncheon Fundraiser

Comment Up

Dear All,

As you hopefully already know we are quickly approaching our exciting alumni fundraiser Hat's On--to be held Saturday, May 28--social hour begins at 11 a.m. with lunch at 12 noon at Atlantis Country Club--see attached flyer for details

We are planning an entertaining luncheon event for you. The hat contest itself is a show onto itself--very entertaining--hard to believe the thought and ingenuity that your classmates put into their creations. (not necessary for you to compete if you don't wish to--come right along and enjoy as a spectator).

In addition to a superb luncheon and hat contest/show, we have a magnificent array of silent auction items and theme raffle baskets. We're going to give you a run down here on what to expect--something for all--men, women, children--with the proceeds going to LWHS Alumni Foundation which supports Dollars for Scholars Foundation--that's what these fundraisers are all about--raising scholarship money for our needy, worthy high school graduates. Just last Thursday night, May 5th, $67,000 in scholarship money was given out at the Awards ceremony held in the school auditorium.

Doesn't that make you proud and want to do your part to keep these fundraisers going and successful?

So, let's see if we can entice you further--everyone likes a good deal and we will be having lots of them while at the same time remember you are supporting our cause by attending and participating in silent auction and purchasing raffle tickets..

For you men & ladies--$99 BBQ grill, RYOBI drill/driver, and Ridgid drill--all from 3 Home Depots, bucket of paint materials from Porter Paints, over $300 value in fishing items inc fishing reel & Yeti cups from Tuppen's, $50 in gift cards from Lowes--how about a ukulele from Chafin's Musicenter or a night's stay at Wellington Hampton Inn, or an orchid garden from Home Depot, maybe a gift basket from Outback Lantana or wine basket from Carrabba's Wellington, some Phoenix & Cinemark theatre tickets?  We have lots of Starbucks items and some from Dunkin Donuts.

For your dining-out pleasure, we have gift cards from these great supportive restaurants-- Applebee's Riverbridge, Atlantis CC,  Bud's Chicken, Carrabba's BB, Cici's Pizza, Duffy's, Farmer's Girl, Flanigan's, Golden Corral, Grumpy Grouper, Gun Club Café, Howley's, Newport Café, Olive Garden, Palm Springs Pizza, Pete's Place, Red Lobster, Taco Bell, Wings Plus--also we have gift cards for owner/classmate Marion's Hair Connections, Carvel Ice Cream, Walmart, Publix, how about some golf lessons at Atlantis CC-- and more coming in all the time.

We have theme baskets galore professionally cellophaned wrapped--some will be used for raffles and some for silent auction--also will be giving out door prizes.

Did you know that some of these sponsors and gift givers for your raffle our supporters of the Braves… How's that going to fare with your boycott of businesses who support the Braves coming to Palm Beach County.

Name one. You can't.
This is not MY raffle.
This is a fundraiser for scholarships for LW school kids and put on every year by the LW Alumni Foundation.
