Hudson Holdings keeps pushing on

Comment Up

At the September 15, 2015 meeting, Commissioner Amoroso asked about putting the "ITN to bed" with the possibility of hiring a Realtor to address the 5,000 sq. ft. upstairs space. He wanted it as either an agenda item or for discussion.

Our City Attorney, Glen Torcivia, said that it could be added to the agenda.

Mayor Pam Triolo said that someone in the previous week wanted to add something to the agenda and they were turned down. She is into consistency and said that you need X amount of days to put something on the Agenda. Pam Lopez, City Clerk, agreed. It didn't matter what the city attorney said. Triolo did not want the subject brought up in any way shape or form that night.

It was agreed to bring back commissioner Amoroso's request at the next general meeting.

Now we have Hudson Holdings sending out an e-mail that indicates this is their third proposal in the ITN process even though they dropped out of the process on 9-15-15. Every newspaper around reported this as well as this blog and Hudson sent a letter stating it--they dropped out.  The ITN ended months ago.

But the above e-mail on the reference line says: RE:  ITN-LW-PT3-final. The city supposedly has 30 days to answer this latest proposal.

As a 24 years lake Worth Taxpayer, contributor to many employee teams,I remind fellow Tax payers of developer Greater Bay enormous error, incompetent City Manager did not conduct background checks, before bringing that Trojan Horse in,which cost us $2,000,000,- which we had to pay towards casino rebuilding.
Citizen,Mr. Coakley, did, and discovered 92 Judgements after Commission and employees drooling over possible kickbacks, failed to conduct this back ground check.,as is part of their jobs. The loss of $2,000,000,- for negligence, nefarious conduct of employees,
must show necessity of background checks.
Taxpayers-owners of ALL Lake Worth public properties, are entitled to see results of such back ground checks, before doing business.
I brought in upscale BRIO exec. ,who flew in from OHIO,wanted 2 stories, an Oceanfront location,
A lying Lake Worth Employee with then City Mgr.lied wanted their own Realtor(why?how much?) and told my client, our space was leased to Johnny Longboat Key,by Snitkin.
My client went downtown W.P.B and found City Place Location $35+.- per sq.ft and CAM location.
Thieves know the cost per sq.ft.on Oceanfront Palm Beach Island Commercial space is well above that.

It's easy. Tell HH sorry guys, it was over when you got out of the ITN. Of course, the mayor could have screwed that one up and set us up for anotehr lawsuit.

Mayoral seat occupant,Triolo,,stated about Lake Worth:
Lake Worth is in a shocking State ,plagued by poverty low property values(she doesn't mention
approves, hundreds of boarded up houses demolished, reducing City's revenue, which, sold at Public Auction of Citizens only, for restoration, would add to the City's bottomline!
That takes business acumen. What is her City Manager Bornstein paid for?Why did he not come up with an plan for City's revenue creation with product at hand? His salary could be used towards our old infrastructure!Did he do background check of prospects for his job he failed with 3 1/2 years trial,he wants to done by developers.Than we do not need him.As the City is looking for our Palm Beach Island Ocean Beach front management,it is easy to get upscale tenants who can fford such location, not thieves, trying below market leasing.
I know one more,in Boca, who wants a location here, near all condos,
as older people can nolonger drive in the dark and would like their Boca restaurant in the Casino.Known by the Citizens of all A-1-A Condos, by political activism, I,
with their list of 7000 dwellers.

It seems to me this is more political theater put on by the gang of 3 and Bornstein. The legal exceptions sure have the same feel and MO as
Torcevia and Bornstein's cooking up the ITN process to hide their true intentions. Merely a "more creative" option, my posterior! Done solely to hide privatization and massive new construction. Can anyone doubt the same monkey business is going on again? Very curious that the Mayor refuses to officially close the derelict ITN, when she also forgets that she has a new offer, actually a hostile takeover by Hudson, for OUR beach. This again screams Sunshine Law violation. In this case MacDiarmid as well as Bornstein would be the conduits. I just wish we had a decent IG to go to. I'm afraid he's a payoff too--by his actions in facilitating sunshine law and election law violations. Can we start recall proceedings for this? It is all dark and dirty and behind out backs. HH stated they are OUT of the ITN. Procedure violation if they put them back in. Period. Shows collusion.

We make them stick to their pulling out of the ITN. It's DONE. The present proposal then by definition is null and void. If the gang of 3 says NO then that means they are actively participating in government out of the sunshine--a violation; AND PROCEED WITH RECALL. The mayor knew about this the whole time--that's why the stall. I wonder how many are actually working for HH behind the scenes. They need to make it official and get an above board position with HH and resign or be recalled. Bornstein too.
