Hudson Holdings Budget - "We want your casino complex"

Comment Up

For $3.7 million there are some who want to sell the soul of Lake Worth to the devil.

We keep going round and round with the same people who have the same arguments that are an affront to our sensibilities. The bottom line is, we don't want Hudson Holdings anywhere near our beach or managing our casino complex for God knows how long. This is the amount of money they say that they will invest to destroy our pool and build out the 2nd floor space. So, their offer went from a 66,000 sq. ft. building and 3 story parking garage down to managing what we already have and building out the vacant space, taking over our lucrative ballroom business as well as bulldozing our pool that we just spent one-half million on just a few years ago. They just don't get it...we don't want them touching our property, especially our pool.

They have been around our town for some time buying up properties as well as the Gulfstream Hotel that sits there decaying. They gave the Lake Worth YES PAC a $1,500 contribution in August 2014. They knew who their friends should be in Lake Worth in order to get favorable treatment. The same people are behind them in their pursuit to "grab our beach"-- they want to gain control of our casino/pool complex.
Once they get what they want from the city of Lake Worth, everything could change as some people are never satisfied and always want more. Give them an inch and they always want that mile--once their foot is in the door, anything could happen depending on who is sitting on that dais... if they ever perform.  Could this be Déjà vu?

Tell them to hit the road and HANDS OFF OUR BEACH.

Wanna bet the price increases astronomically once they get the go ahead? And just might then of necessity include an exclusive private club to pay for the increased debt. And of course private ocean club for his condo owners. And I did notice a clause in the public-private partnership wording that mentions "soverign immunity." Does this mean we're the only ones on the hook while we lose our beach to crooked land deals in the dark? Does that make these clowns immune to prosecution for fraud?

A previous city commission was too stupid to properly investigate Greater Bay when they slithered into town just a few years ago . After inviting these Vampires into our town, it took 1.6 million tax payer dollars to get rid of them.
Anybody else getting a sick sense of deja Vu with Hudson Holdings?
Look at Hudson Holdings record !! THEY SUCK . NOBODY would want the stench of these guys in their town.
These guys backed out of our ITN. Remember their pissy goodbye letter(probably written by the ace of sour grapes John Szerdi)?
GET OUT OF OUR TOWN HUDSON HOLDINGS! HOW MUCH HOLY WATER HAS TO DUMPED ON YOUR UN-DEAD HEADS TO GET THE MESSAGE?????

Yes, I'm not really sure they even want our beach or pool, somehow I think this is a set up for a lucrative settlement post some contract fall out.
