152nd Aniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg


It's hard to imagine that it was all these years ago that a Civil War was fought on American soil. This is a big part of our young nation's history and we have come a long way since that time with all citizens having equal opportunity to succeed.

"This year marks the 152nd anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, the pivotal conflict in the Civil War which was fought from July 1 through July 3, 1863. Dramatized in Michael Shaaras Pulitzer Prize winning novel The Killer Angels and the Ron Maxwell film Gettysburg based on that book, the battle continues to resound in American culture."

Next the crazies will want to ban this book and movie as well.
