Hudson's Beach, a/k/a The City of Lake Worth

Well, if you read their proposal on the ITN, the above makes a lot of sense. Also, a year ago,  Hotel OnLine reported that Hudson Holdings is looking to flip the Gulfstream property. This too makes sense, as nothing has been done to this property in the year that they have owned it other than it becoming more blighted.

One year ago, directly after Hudson acquired the Gulfstream, its website said that the "offering includes additional land for future development which implied that they were going to flip the property. The website noted that the property is three-quarters of an acre, and a Phase II adjacent parcel for future development is 1.24 acres, suitable for "150 units Hotel Style Living Apartments." Of course, they could have changed their mind about selling it..anything is possible, right?

Also, according to Hudson's website at that time, the company stated that it owns more than 150 units spread out over multiple properties in Lake Worth. Look up all their corporation names and do the research--mind boggling. Plans are to acquire multi-residential buildings in the East Lake Worth area to create a portfolio of more than 500 units over a two-year period. Just since February 2015, the last time I checked their website, Hudson was featuring our Lake Worth Casino. It has subsequently been removed.

So, how does changing the city's name to Hudson's Beach sound to you?

Should anyone be trusting Hudsons Holding or for that matter, this commission? We can figure it out. Not good.

I am wondering why they have such a number of LLC's. Seems like a game to me. Wonder if it is with their investors too. Worth looking into I believe.

I find it curious that the City continues to talk about the beach. The ITN process has run its course, the ITN committee did not endorse any plan. The City heard from many residents that they were against further development at the beach (that message was sent both during the election and more recently).

Instead of moving on and focusing on leasing out the upstairs restaurant space, the City continues to dither about development at the beach or the pool.

This is just like LW2020, they didn't get their way but they'll continue to ignore the message sent and continue to negotiate and plot behind the scenes. I'm sure we will be hearing about some new plan soon. Meanwhile the Mayor and her ilk will use this as yet another opportunity to bad mouth good people how simply want to be able to enjoy their beach park.

Lynns blog is the first I'm hearing about the Gulfsteam being offered as a flip. Did Szerti, the city manager, Maxwell, Triolo and Amoroso know? If not ,why not ? And if so ,what the hell? Why are these con men even being talked about any more? Did they offer that big a bribe ??? Please somebody at the next commission meeting bring this up !

The ITN committee did not recommend Hudson Holdings for anything at the beach to our Commission. So why are you clowns still talking about making the beach private? Why are you putting those ugly red signs in yards for a fight that never was? Why don't you not want Lake Worth to be a better place than it is? This issue is dead. They are looking for someone to pay a good rent for the upstairs af the Casino. So far they have only found another dam beachy hamburger joint. The Wave Pool thing didn't pan out yet due to a lack of parking and spring break all year concerns. Yes the commission worries to much, but this privatizing the beach issue id DEAD DEAD DEAD so get over it and move on. Trying to make it a campaign issue makes you Cara and Golden look stupid.

Did you listen to the audios of the meetings?
We have seen this group in action before.
the ONLY people looking stupid are 1) whoever decided to do an ITN in the first place 2) included expansion of our facility in the ITN and 3) held secret meetings.
It's all a matter of trust, anonymous at 10:36 and no one wants our casino complex touched whether it's private development or not.
