Burger King "frying" more than burgers

Comment Up

What about ruining our water? Lake Worth Burger King dumping oil down our sewer drain.

This is horrible, of course, and affects our water supply and the ocean. But it is great that everyday people these days have the power to expose bad acts with a camera phone.

Meanwhile, of course, it's not the Burger King on Dixie in LW (former kingdom of Mr. Maxwell, before his glory days at Daves.) It's a BK on Lantana Road -not sure of zip code- probably out west in Unincorporated Palm Beach County (UPBC) --or I like to call it, "NOT the City of Lake Worth but you gotta call it something."

Speaking of that ongoing problem... I suggest we call UPBC "West Lake Worth" --Let's start a campaign with the US Postal Service (it's all their fault anyway, from decades ago.)

Wait, forget the media & USPS. Let's sue! City of LW sues PB County for not giving an official name to its far flung Unincorporated Communities. We get Google Maps to back us.

Or what about this? Jeff Clemens has a proposal in Tallahassee to make it against State Law to call a place in Florida "Lake Worth" unless it is actually within the LW City Limits. (Can't call it Lake Worth, like you can't say "Global Warming") --Hold on. Can those people in "so called Lake Worth" communities vote for Jeff? Never mind.
