But we're not Birds

Comment Up

The "birds of a feather stick together" idiom goes all the way back to the 6th century but it has been revised by a radical activist (who believes he is Christian-like) here in Lake Worth and who is a member of our Library Board (where people go to get some knowledge in life) and  appointed by Vice Mayor Maxwell. He wants to classify all people who know a woman who he has verbally assassinated for allegedly saying the N word and lump any or all of her friends and acquaintances into the same mold.

We have also heard the expression that "great minds think alike" which is also an untrue statement. "I do not believe that any two men, on what are called doctrinal points, think alike who think at all. It is only those who have not thought that appear to agree." ~ Thomas Paine.  Here in Lake Worth we have a lot of free thinkers who are unpersuaded by any one person or even the Lake Worth Herald. What we do know is even if you disagree with some people on some points, there are other issues where there is common ground.

If this Library Board member who is so offended by something that supposedly was said (now mind you he can't produce any audio or one witness) and now wants to demonstrate against some who know this person who he wants to attack, then let's continue the insanity one step further.  What about demonstrating against Michael Bornstein who was the aide to Warren Newell who got a 5 year prison sentence for honest services fraud. Is he also guilty by association?  And what about anyone who ever knew Tony Massilotti, Mary McCarty, Ray Liberti and Jim Exline? Should they too be considered criminals because they knew them? Should their campaign contributors go to prison too? Should their parents also be condemned to prison for giving them life to begin with? Should we all call for a demonstration against this intolerant radical?

Birds of a feather might stick together when they are little creatures who fly through the air but when talking about people, we all have free will and are not responsible for what any one person does or says unless we hand them the gun.

Other crazy people like him. Cities tolerate crazy people. Companies don't. Michael Moore said, We're never gonna get rid of crazy people. They've been around for thousands of years - they'll continue to be around; they'll continue to do horrible things.

What a sad little peacock he is, Lynn. And egging on this sad little bird is the Lake Worth Herald. The standard of proof is now so low at the Lake Worth Herald that all anyone needs to do is run and whisper in the ear of the "editor".POOF!. Front page coverage for unsubstantiated rumor and gossip.Sad little peacocks, orphan piglets searching for the identity of their real fathers, confused pelicans, Lake Worth sure is an animal farm .

Take pity on him. He is a lost soul.

Give him a soapbox to jump on and he will have an orgasm.
If a few people watch and listen, it will be multiple.

Lynn I don't understand this post are u defending the person who called the guy that or guy who said they did. Why would he make it all up? Is the accused your friend?

You don't understand the post?
It has nothing to do about whether someone said it or didn't say it. It can't be proved. Therefore, anonymous, and for the very last freaking time, there is justice in this country. You are innocent until PROVEN GUILTY. Other than that, you might just want to live in Syria. Why is this guy making an issue? He makes issues about everything. Go ask him. It's his 15 minutes of fame.

Lynn, you have encouraged and posted his rants when they attacked your enemies. You should have known that he would turn on you. Its his nature.

@8:47...I understand that. I post what people say...the truth. This is NOT about me. This guy has always tuned on everyone. People need to see that and I believe most do.

When did he ever attack Lynn's enemies? Who are her enemies?

Who cares, why give him attention. And who cares about Dee, she is a hateful person who uses all kinds of racial slurs but she's not a public official so what she says or doesn't say means nothing.
